Just so you know, i’m a level 61 human thief, so i have no experience with legendary and exotic weapons. I wanted to find out what the most powerfull dagger was, so i went on the wiki and checked the dagger.

I was surprised to see that it had no precision. I checked a exotic dagger (Berserker’s Destroyer Dagger) had superior stats (for a power and precision build, that is.) I just wonder why this is the case? Ae legendary weapons not supposed to be the best?

They aren’t suppesed to have superior stats – infact they got the same stats as every lvl 80 exotic. They just look super awesome

And don’t trust databases all the time. Lots of info is still from the beta (like the stats on the legendaries)

They’re not meant to be “better” in any way, except for looks. They’ll mostly just be used to transmute onto your normal weapons, which probably have stats more tailored to your current build.

So it’s used for bling? =P

I have a bunch of the mats for one and then saw what stats I’d be able to look forward to, so the base weapon has what I want, power, precision and crit damage but the final product does not….. Someone at Arenanet is obsessed with vitality, I am not.

You can use the legendary dagger skin and apply it to the stats of another exotics using transmute stones btw. So looking at the stats at all is almost pointless. I wish they made them no stats so people would stop whining about them….
