I was just checking the chest section of the wiki and I saw Wings of Dwayna as a rare drop from the Eye of Zhaitan event in Straits of Devestation. I have the longbow and it was a real pain in the kitten but isn’kitten bit ridicilous to give a standalone weapon as a rare drop? Shouldn’t it be obtained from MF or TP only? Thanks in advance.

The wiki is not always right. Back in GW1 it took me about 2 years to get the Rragar’s chest loot table changed on the wiki b/c one random person said they had a Steelhead scythe drop from it. (it didn’t drop from that dungeon)

Some of the mystic forge items do drop rarely from chests after specific events. I can’t speak to the Wings of Dwayna, but I personally received a Jormag’s Breath sword from the chest after Claw.

It used to be obtained by a rare forge via sPvP tokens back when people were able to craft stuff.

Not rare. About 30% chance to get it with that recipe.
