Plzzz i have to remove runes from wvw gear, I JUST WANT THE RUNES! dont care with materials. How do it ? Without transmutting 2 times.

You can do it with one transmute. Put it on another piece of gear and salvage.

Imo you should be able to salvage and forge them regardless though. I mean… I can do that to dungeon gear which has no gold cost… but WvW that has an additional gold cost I can’t? Heck, some exotics I could buy for 1g straight off the TP.

It’s pretty kitten messed up no matter how you look at it.

If I’m understanding the predicament correctly, a Black Lion Salvage Kit is your answer. 100% chance to redeem the upgrade (rune in this case) on salvage.

Transmuting won’t give you the rune back, only put it on another piece of gear.

I think a Transmutation Splitter may work if your item is transmuted. I remember splitting my Predator and getting the Force sigil back, but someone will need to confirm this (this is just an alternate option, BLSK will be MUCH more cost effective).

You can’t salvage WvW gear Flissy… hence the problem

No salvage on ANY items purchased form NPCs that are Green or up (that become SOULBOUND when you buy them).

Transmute with white item, then you can salvage off the upgrade.

You can salvage rare/exotic dungeon gear.

Heck they even toss in a bonus chance at an inscription if you do it to exotic rabid/dire/soldier gear off of that stuff : /
