Does anyone know if you can craft these with bloodstone dust yet?

You can use the GW2 wiki for a lot of information. Looks like neither can, based on that site.

Thanks – sometimes the information on there can be quite out of date. Some of the community queried why these two were excluded from the bloodstone recipes and I was wondering whether that anomaly had been “fixed” yet.

They were excluded exactly because they are the stat selectable back pieces.

It would be nice to be able to craft those items, and sell them, but nooooo……

Just check if Bloodstone Dust is forgeable with Vicious Claws….

Seems still not activated for these two. So there is no way of getting an account bound ascended celestial back item other than through Fractals?

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that whilst the various other back items such as Light of Dwayna are account bound when made, they are soulbound on use?

That is incorrect.
They are probably the cheapest way but not the only way.
All Ascended items are account bound before and after equipping. That change happened a couple of patches ago. Even ones that were previously soulbound became account bound.

The vial of condensed mist essences shouldn’t be very difficult to get either. I rarely do fractals but I still have enough of them to make 11 back pieces if I wanted to(5 directly, another 6 from downgrading). If you also want to make it infused then that is a different story but there is no reason to do that unless you are doing fractals.

I think the recently released Ascended back items are bugged and ARE currently Soulbound on Use….at least there is plenty of angst over something to do with them in various posts around these forums…
