any suggestions on suspicious recipes for this exotic summit shield skin? :o I’ve been trying everything I can think of to no avail

any reason to assume this is actually obtainable and/or craftable? its so ugly tho :|

it’s rediculously plain. and yeah, it’s in the game files, just like feathers of dwana, just hasn’t been discovered yet >_> may the red god shine a bit of insight as to this and other questions.

While the moles fractal offers a possible source, I’m guessing that the Commissar the shield belongs to is in Frostgorge Sound – likely drops from a chest at the end of the seemingly endless chains of events in the SW corner of the map.

Just cause the item exists in the game doesn’t mean it’s craft able, even by the magic forge. Some unique exotics only drop from chests, or from combining that type of item in the mystic forge, like the process for getting a precursor.

It’s entirely possible that this shield isn’t craftable at all, and you’d have to get it to drop, or buy it from the TP.

only reason I think it’s not on that chain of events is simply because, like the final rest, those events have been done before, and it’s not even TAGGED on the auction house. that means that not only is it not available, it HAS NEVER BEEN SOLD on the auction house.

Sure. That’s a given, but I’ve also spent enough time in those tunnels knocking out world completion on 2 characters and playing guide for a third to know… that place is EMPTY. I think the sample size of successful event chain completions is a low as any high level area you could hope for – and that type of scenario is really the only way something like this seems likely to be found (if it can be found at all). If it has dropped, I doubt it was equiped as its quite plain for some tastes and there are not many shield users to begin with. Even if it wasn’t equipped, it was as likely to be scraped for ectos or flushed down the forge as placed up for auction. Only an actual shield fan would be likely to even notice the skin isn’t a plain old Level 5-15 white item shield skin :p.
