that is so discouraged by the mystic forge that i wanna just say screw it and quit the game all together ? ive wasted over 1k gold probably 2k on this crap with absolutely no luck and countless hours in cursed shore doing events and blah blah blah… i have never had a precursor or have i even known anyone to have found one during an event.. must they really be THAT freaking rare.. its like the only way to get one is to buy gems/convert to gold OR buy one from chinese bot farmers…..
im curious how many of you have had horrid luck with the forge and after how much effort did you finally get your precursor?

Its just a skin man. Wait for the scavenger hunt or play pvp where those items dont matter.

I would suggest saving your gold and buying one off the TP. Still plenty of time.

Or buy it on the TP? You dropped 1-2k on the mystic forge when you could have just bought it. You had the money.

I find this highly doubtful. You are saying you had 2k gold, you could have just bought the Legendary..or the precursor for 650g.

I for one don’t expect to get one(precursor) to drop or get one(precursor) in the Mystic Toilet. I will grind til I have the gold or craft rare great swords as I get the mats and put them in the toilet.

But I have to say…there really should be a more sure fire way of getting one.

Am i the only one that understands he didnt just drop 1-2k gold one day? common sense tells me hes referring to a lifetime of trying and i can understand how anyone can slowly just trow stuff at the Mystic Toilet little by little until you realize its been a little too much by now…
I personally have thrown hundreds worth of rares and exotics by now with no luck, I can just say not keeping track of exactly how much helps me ><!

No I get that. But you’d think that after the first 1k you’d cut your losses instead of continuing to gamble away your money. Or, simply knowing that the RNG gods are mean sadistic creatures (which we all know) you could just forgo the Almighty Toilet altogether and buy the precursor.

Afterward, if you really feel like gambling your luck, go ahead and continue to throw stuff in the Forge as it’s convenient and maybe you’ll get another precursor. Sell it and recoup your initial expenses for buying your first one.
