with the announcements of all crafts going too tier 500, i wonder what kind of foods and stats will appear.. possibly even new dyes too. not sure, but with MF dissapearing i wonder how worthless omnomberry’s will be. any thoughts?

As I’ve said on a few occasions, I hope we get fishing (with fish/seafood dishes) and Power/Condition Duration and Precision/Condition Duration foods.

I think what they said is mf from gear will disappear. I’m not sure they meant food too.

MF is gone from gear. Only gonna be account bound and increasable with ever more costly consumables. Course, what they gonna do about all the mats that went into making the MF gear they’ve unilaterally rendered useless is another matter. Takes a kittenload of Ori to make jewelry, relative to how “easy” it is to get. Or any high tier mat. Only ever had lots of hard leather.

I tend to think MF will INCREASE on food (old and new recipes) when it is removed from gear.

Cooking crafting the magic find consumables to increase the account stats.

I completed crafting in cooking a long time ago but, still keep finding new recipes I don’t know and find consumables very useful. I wish crafting was like that in other areas. I would really like to see more useful Consumables like the ones in the following guide.

Except most MF food has that in it.

Most new recipes seem geared more towards using up higher quantities of ingredients that have too much “Supply” and no Demand. Mushroom Loaf for instance would have been a PERFECT recipe if not for the fact they totally screwed it all to hell by requiring ROSEMARY. (Seriously…. who does that before even checking the price of Rosemary and realizing it’s already super high demand b/c of Herbed Broths ??)

Yes please to both of the above.

Fishing in particular is an activity that sometimes, after a brain-draining day at work can be very appealing – just to log in for a half hour, catch up and chat with guildies, and yet be doing something that is productive for your account insofar as providing materials for your chef to make into useful stat foods for your characters.

Since there is underwater combat and already plenty of “fish” in the sea, I doubt obtaining seafood dish ingredients will require a fishing pole and bait….(NO PLEASE!)
