Can ascended back pieces and rings drop in FOTM?

Just wondering if its possible to get the entire ascended items from FOTM instead of crafting them.

I know that the rings are a confirmed drop from FoTM (confirmed from chests and possibly mobs too)

Not sure about the back pieces though.

As stated rings are a confirmed drop in FoTM, from what I understand more likely the higher difficulty levels. The back pieces are made in the mystic forge, I don’t think they will also drop. The recipe is 1 concentrated essene of the mist (drops from FoTM, I got 1 in the first difficulty level), 50 globs of ectoplasm, 250 T6 fine crafting mats (determines stats, from what I’ve found it is not the same as crafting….ie don’t expect rampager stats when using venom), and 40 crystals OR 240 philosophers stones from Miyani (crystals make defensive slot and stones makes offensive, either way it will cost 24 skillpoints). I hope this helps, this is all information I’ve found and seen in pictures on various sites…I have not made any of them yet.

PS: Defensive items have a book skin and Offensive items have a quiver skin. Just thought I’d throw that out there!

rings = drop after lvl 10
back = crafted in MF with items droped in fotm
