assassin ascendent backpack

Since september feature pack bringed assassin ascendent trinkets im wondering if ascendent backpack who allow you to choose stat would now allow to choose assassin stat

Did someone tested it after patch?

Assassin’s is available on the exotic back item but not the ascendent one.
