Satchel recipes are gained by putting a coat into the mystic forge.

That means you have to have crafted an item to get that recipe from the MF, right? How did anyone craft one if it requires 10 charged crystals (10 days) per item?

There are already satchel/box recipes on the TP.

I hope you realize making a satchel will make the process take 35 days instead of 30.

Because you can drop recipies from: Zephyr boxes and Kite bags.

The backpieces are also rare drops from certain chests, I believe, such as the chest at the end of Sanctum Sprint.

You are right.

You cannot make satchel recipes for celestial armor in the mystic forge.
My guess would be because the celestial armor is account bound.

Besides that, learning a satchel recipe for armor will not lower your cost of crafting the whole set. You will need the same amount of ingredients as if you would craft each piece individually.

Well thanks anyway, nobody in LA knew. Good to know. I’ve already crafted an entire set (except for gloves cause i need more charged krissals, so like 2 more days) so it doesn’t matter anymore.
