So I just read the economy report but there are still some fuzzy ends, at least for me. maybe someone can help.

The general statement towards existing gear with mf seems to be: the stats can be changed, things will become account-bound.

a) does this go for all gear even pieces a charcter is wearing when you login at patch day or will those become soulbound with login again? (aka: should i unequip everything befor patch goes life?)

b) the example states Explorers Pearl Staff, does the same go for random world drops like the Errol’s set or the Traveler’s Ceremonial weapons or will those get changed according to the other statement (i.e. “Traveler’s drops will be replaced with the Dire Stat Combo (Condition Damage, Toughness, Vitality)”)

any ideas?

a) I believe everything will be account bound so nothing bad will happen if you are still wearing it. Although, there could be bugs on the first day but I’m sure any major bugs will be worked out relatively fast

b) That refers to crafting those stats. So now you can craft say a Explorer’s Pearl Staff with a specific recipe. Post patch that recipe will exist except it will create a different stat combo. Traveler → Dire, etc.

thanks, the first part certainly clears things up.

as for the second, traveler is not a stat that can be crafted at all as far as i’m aware, that’s why I was confused. So the question remains will all existing drops be changeable and all drops to come will be dire then?
