I have just finished my artificer to 500 to get a ascended weapon. Dumping all my gold and bank mats into crafting , I am wondering can i make money off of crafting 400+ tier materials?

Seems so much gold to craft one weapon right? Might as well make some gold along with making an ascended weapon.

Deldrimor Steel Ingots and Elonian Leather Squares are profitable. The rest is not (crafting exotics). You can use a website such as http://www.gw2spidy.com/ to check to see if something you craft is profitable over mat cost or not.

Deldrimor may be very profitable if its required for heavy armor.

If you farm materials, then you can make money from crafting, because there is no costs.

Sadly the material to craft high level items is more times than not, worth more than the crafting items, always check the material cost vs. the selling price.

It’s not making money if you sell something for less than the mats regardless if you farm up the mats yourself or not… you’re losing potential gold.
