So there’s gotta be a recipe that uses these things.. the price is down to an abysmal low compared to other loDestones probably thanks in part to the spelling and a lack of uses right now compared with the other stones. I’ve heard rumors of an ice bow similar to what the ele’s summon but haven’t found anything.

I’ve been trying to put these in the forge with other items, but haven’t had any luck at all yet. Here’s what I’ve tried:

coins work as they are part of the jormag’s needle recipe

no dice:

-all weaponsmith weapon blades(and hammer heads, etc)
-most other lodestones
-vial of quicksilver
-ectos
-most t6 crafting mats

If anyone has one of these lying around, check and see if it lets you combine it with anything new in the forge. Possibly bow parts, if anyone has hunstman leveled or wants to buy them. If anyone is working on frostfang possible the gift of ice could be used here(or other crafted legendary gifts at this level, my vial of quicksilver was a no go)

The bows do exist and require a Gift of Ice as one of the components.

Is there a recipe for wintersbite?

Same as Wintersbark, except sub out the Ancient Shortbow Staves for Longbow ones.

1x Eldritch Scroll
1x Gift of Ice
100x Mystic Coins
250x Ancient Longbow Stave

There is no any other weapon except bows requiring a gift of ice?

Im sure if you just replaced the 250 staves with 250 orichalcum greatsword blades youd get a greatsword and so on.

Someone with a gift of ice should try this. I’m not a ranger so I don’t want to end up with something that only makes a bow

That’s generally not how the recipes have been working. I believe these bows match the design of the conjured ice bow from elementalists. The conjured hammer has been discovered to use Gift of Lightning; the greatsword, Vial of Liquid Flame; the shield, obsidian shards. These weapons don’t have equivalents of other weapon types.

The only other weapon that I’m aware of that uses Glacial Lodestones is Jormag’s Needle.

I’m curious to see if there are weapons still unknown using the other items. Someone has mentioned that maybe the Gift of Thorns would be used for a craftable version of the Caladbolg skin, for example; I wonder if there are actually recipes like that for most, if not all gifts. Could be a gold mine for someone who buys a lot of the required materials and then announces the recipe for a new cool looking skin.

They are used to make Jormags Needle also.

I added the longbow to the wiki. Is there a list of undiscovered models somewhere?
