Congrats! And I don’t see it as bragging. When something exciting happens, it’s nice to be able to share the news of your good fortune with other folks. I still think when someone gets a precursor, Zommoros should set off some fireworks or something like the slot machines do when someone hits the jackpot.

But to go out of your way to try to get responses on the forum for a post that is literally “LOOK AT WHAT I GOT OH MAN”? I think that’s excessive, and definitely rubs up against bragging.

People are strange – everyone loves a little schadenfreude and most folks don’t seem to mind commiseration threads but so few people are willing to celebrate someone else’s good fortune. It’s not like the original poster’s luck makes it less likely that you’ll be lucky.
I’m not sure how you can brag about something that requires zero skill. He had a stroke of luck and he’s excited. I see it as confirmation that that stingy djinn does occasionally pay out, and it makes me smile to think about the feeling that the OP must have had when he saw Dawn pop up on the screen.

You know what they say: misery loves company. More often than not people waste thousands of gold in the forge and get nothing. Then, someone comes along and says “Hey guys look what I got last night sweet!” and it makes them feel terrible. RNG is RNG, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s frustrating, saddening, and demoralizing when RNG hates you and likes someone else. No one likes a thread where someone complains about their luck just as no one likes a thread where someone brags about it. The former is whining when you knew what you were getting into, and the latter is boisterous and achieves nothing besides showing off your luck. How you interpret that showing off is up to you; I find it atrocious that such braggarts get praise or are treated like they’re special, but you apparently like to smile at their fortune.
And yes, one can definitely brag about zero-skill endeavors. People like to feel good about themselves, so they show off what they have achieved through luck like it actually means something. That is exactly why this thread is bad news.

Just asking, is the forge chance to produce higher quality item is reduced by last patch ? I feel like its getting harder to get these items out of forge.
To OP/everyone: How many rare did you throw into the forge ? And how many exo (including dawn) you get ?
