So last night I dumped a bunch of stuff into the MF for some clovers. I used the 10-recipe, and five of my first six attempts returned 10 clovers. “What’s all the fuss about? This isn’t bad at all,” I told myself. I wound up going one for my next next six attempts. Law of averages kicked me in the behind the moment I opened my mouth. Worse still, three of my failed attempts gave me T6 common mats (two ori, one leather) and another game me mystic coins (which are dirt cheap on the TP).

Long story short: I’ve now got to grind about 35 skill points for my Bloodstone since I got caught up in the “I only need 10 more 20 more clovers” trap.

There are people in my guild who are using the mystic clover recipe as a means to get T6’s for legendaries cause they’ve already got the 77. Ironically enough they’re getting more clovers than mats. Since you’re getting more mats than clovers you should change what you wish for. Zommoros seems to enjoy giving people the opposite of what they really want.

Personally, I prefer it this way b/c the only thing I want is the T6’s.
(Now if only we had some way to Reroll all the stupid Hardened Leather we get).

That’s the reason I went 10 at a time; I need a ton of T6 mats. Unfortunately that bunch of leather returned on one of my attempts isn’t much of a help.

Use the x10 recipe if you want t6 mats and hope the rng gods work in your favor. If they do, then you can make a butt load of profit. Did 20 x10 and got really good drops. Couple lodestone, blood and scales and before I knew it…50g worth of Ecto turned into 100+g of t6 materials. Only go clovers 4 out of the 20 tries. Was a bit lucky. Did it another 5 tries and got 3 straight clovers…just how it goes.

Use the x1 recipe if all you want are clovers.

compared to the t6 materials you need, the 77 clovers are not really that much of a problem. i got myself 250 ecto/250 obby togwether with enough crystals and coins to use those 250. if im correct you need around 210, if your lucky you need less, if unlucky you need more. i was average, i had 40 ecto left.

i always thought the clovers would be the problem too, but compared to tall the t6 and the precursor, the clovers are easy to get.
