I am seeing that as a jewler I need iron ingots for a few recipes, but I can’t refine iron ore? am I stuck with either learning a whole new trade to just be able to refine this or buying them only, or is there a way to refine iron that I can’t see? I’m lv 200 in jewel crafting here.

Unfortunately Jewelers can only refine precious metals, as far as I know, so you do have to either level Armorsmithing or Weaponsmithing, or just buy the Ingots you need. On the bright side, however, Iron Ingots are fairly cheap, so it shouldn’t be a problem to just buy a few.

They aren’t a primary material for sure, so just buy them.

May I ask what Jeweler recipes require iron ingots?

I guess i didn’t notice this since i was leveling a huntsman at the same times but yeah that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever….o.O
