I have just started to level cooking. I need to get salt and pepper piles. I read somewhere that I needed to combine salt with black peppercorns. I think i am stupid as i cannot figure outlhow to combine them. I have 10 salt and 31 B peppervorns. I drag the 10 salt to the peppercorns and assummed I would get 10 piles of salt and pepper. NOT! ok, I have admitted I am stupid. can someone help me with this??

Click on the Pile of Salt and Pepper recipe while at a crafting station. Click Craft or Craft All …

this isn’t the Alchemy app. not so sophisticated as to drag and drop one ingredient into another. gotta select what you want to make, then make sure you have enough ingredients, then say to make it.

I was also a bit confused when I first started cooking (1-400 today, yay!).

The salt and pepper recipe is already learned when you start cooking. It’s not something you discover like other recipes, so just find it under seasonings and voila.

Always keep in mind with such recipes, you will follow guides to level and find recipes that you try to combine and find you cannot.

These recipes are often learned automatically when you hit a certain level, and in some cases come from a recipe you have to buy.

Keep in mind that while cooking it is often VERY easy to forget you already discovered some ingredient or recipe needed to make a new discovery. Cooking can be very confusing as it doesn’t follow the typical crafting pattern of the other crafts.

If you are sure you have the ingredients and proper level for an item and can’t discover it, it is likely already in the recipe list…..
