Guild Wars 2

does anyone know any samurai looking armor? ill even go for a combination of armors. it doesnt matter if you find a helmet or not. thanks. and please if u can, use pics.

oh and btw im looking for HEAVY armor thats all =)

i tried to look this up myself at some point, but the ‘asian’ inspired armors are not in the game(not sure if they will be since cantha is not scheduled to be included: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/How-is-getting-rid-of-Cantha-a-universal-representation-of-humanity/first)

that being said, i haven’t seen lacquered splint mail with vertical plates anywhere in the game so far. the oni masks you can only find from the starter necro or mesmer gear(i forgot which), but those are not transmutable to heavy helmets.

if the tengu ever make a more pronounced impact on the game, then maybe, but even then i haven’t seen any samurai type armor on them.

The closest I have found sadly will not be of use to you. Although it is the medium armor emblazoned set.

Id say the closest is probably the medium crafted exotic armor.
But its ugly as hell.

Where did you get that information from? I have not really heard anything about it being canned, if anything it makes sense that’s where we would be headed next. Sorry to get off topic in this thread, this comment just grabbed my attention and would like to expand on it.
