I know others will have probably said this but:

Why oh why is there a only 1 Legendary rifle that only really suits the Warrior class?
The Engineer class just doesn’t look right shooting the Predator snipers rifle like a shotgun. Engineers class use the rifles at waist height so we need a Legendary that is a waist height held gun. (no scope please)

So PLEASE PLEASE give all of us that play the Engineer Class some love and a new Legendary Rifle that suits the skill our engineers use.
(It’s always been my favorite class since back in GW2 BETA)

Bring up your character panel and select wardrobe. Select your weapon and then select the skin you want. If you don’t have a skin you want then go unlock some more. If you have all skins unlocked then you are going to have to wait until more skins get released.

That’s all well and good, but that doesn’t address OP’s issue…like, at all.

OP does realize the ONLY weapon with multiple Legendary Skins is the Greatsword….right? And that is only because the 3rd is made by combining the other 2 (and GS is the most used weapon by class type).

There are plenty of Rifle Skins that can be applied to an Ascended Rifle that pretty closely IMMEDIATELY addresses the OPs request……(sans being able to swap weapon stats at will).

Actually, the most common used weapon is spear, which 6 classes can equip, then comes sword with 5 classes. Then comes GS with plenty of other weapons that are usable by 4 classes each.

No it doesn’t. OP is asking for a new Legendary. You’re suggesting his/her desire for a new Legendary can be fulfilled by using something that isn’t a Legendary. How is that a solution to OP’s problem?

How about you use other skins? There are a wide array of guns that fits engineers.

The stats are Legendary, the skin is not.

I agree with OP but i am from a different approach.

All engineer rifle skill are not aimed shot, that makes “rifle” on engineer means nothing.

On the other hand, warrior bleed shot, volley, kill shots are “very” professional rifle shot stance, why not change warrior bleed shot animation into hip shot, change the name to hip shot. Then change engineer hip shot with aimed animation and rename it to aimed shot or similar name?

I love my warrior and his rifle but i always don’t understand engineer rifle stance are so “amature”. It is very hard to take a nice screen shot with my engineer and his rifle because none of his shooting animation is as good as warrior.

Really? Listen, that’s as clear as it’s going to get. I can’t possibly break it down for you any simpler than I already have. If you haven’t got it yet, you’re not going to.

Except for GS, we need more Legendaries of every type.
Just look at the Bitfrost…how does the rainbow-staff fit to a necro?

They are a waste of resources and disgusting to look at.

I personally know 4 people who have Predator on their engineer and look awesome. None the less i respect and understand your question/suggestion/request and agree with it for the sake of conversation as imo legendaries with some exceptions look quiet awesome to me.
First: addressing the issue of skinning a legendary with a different skin-that wont do. If nothing else then simply because all other skins are just skins with no special partial effects, glowing, footsteps etc. One exception- new ley line gun/pistol skins have sound effects that are imo better then quips but the lack the rest.
So if you want to fix the issue of Predator not being suitable for engis, yes, you need a new legendary rifle.
Second: as far as great swords i really don’t understand the point in making two while every one of other legendary class is single. True, besides sword and spear-that actually no one uses- gs is the most represented and used class of weapon but don’t forget that the ultimate price here for those wanting a legendary is actually the Eternity.

So fixing this issue will be possible only by bringing a new rifle. What does it look and sound like, well maybe we’ll be able to decide some day :P doubtful but i’m an optimist

My suggestion was a DOABLE solution….transmute one of the more acceptable rifle skins for an Engineer ONTO the Preditor. Anet is NOT going to do another single Legendary weapon (they MAY do an entire series of them at some point, but no way are they going to make ONE….and certainly not for a weapon that is usable by 2 classes).

Quite frankly, the OP doesn’t have a “problem”, but a “want”……there’s a difference.
