Is there going to be an other way to gain watchwork sprockets? The prices are getting very high atm, maily because there is as far as i know no way of getting them anymore?

I think now the only place to get them is from the home instance node. Ask a friend who has it, if you don’t, if you can mine theirs once a day.

But yeah I think that’s the only new supply ATM. Although I did get some from the Aetherblade fractal yesterday.

Watchwork sprockets will rise further with their additional functionality from the last 4 releases and their limited availability now. Not sure, if you can still find Twisted Watchwork mobs anywhere, Scarlets Invasions are over, so no more drops of twisted salvage items or watchwork boxes.

Charged Lodestones gonna go up in price then.

Glad I made my Zealot’s armor when it was first released. Would suck if I had to buy all the sprockets for that now for about 4x what I paid at the time.

Got about 4 more stacks of sprockets and 2 or 3 watchwork mechanisms stocked up, but I won’t be selling those considering I stocked up because I figure I may need to craft more stuff with them in the future (waiting until the rune / sigil change before I do anything, but probably going to want a few bursting sigils at least).

Sprockets are the first thing that actually have me harvesting my home node every day, that’s for sure. Can’t pass up those 6-12 sprockets a day.

I’d imagine watchwork sprockets coming back with queens pavilion again. And they did say it might come before yearly cycle.
And the new vendor should be selling sprockets and spores at least.

Well, there is the subtle difference that you need 500 sprockets to craft a exotic insignia/inscription instead of 5 regular t6 mats.

But you need, bare minimum, 250 Sprockets to craft anything useful with Sprockets (superior sigils and runes). And Zealot’s gear (as well as the ascended spinal blades) requires 500 per piece. And Sprocket jewelry takes 750 (!) for a single piece.

So comparing them 1 to 1 with T6 mats doesn’t work at all. You can buy the 5 T6 mats to create a piece of exotic armor for 2g17s give or take. The Sprockets to craft a piece of exotic Zealot gear now costs 6g14s. And for Jewelry its less than 1g for 5 Ruby Orbs to craft a piece of ‘zerker jewelry (and that’s by far the most expensive T6 jewel) vs 9g21s for the Sprockets to craft a piece of Sprocket jewelry.

I agree with your assessment except that exotic jewelry costs ruby jewels, I believe, 5 of them. Not just ruby orbs. Exotic jewelry, to me, is more expensive to make than just buying ascended with laurels.

I dont think the Jubilee will come back. Last year it was Queen Jennahs 10 year Reign Jubilee and i dont think she will put on a show for her 11th year. Maybe her 15th.

As Scarlet crashed the Party, I see the Jubilee more as a Living Story Season 1 event than a reoccuring event like Halloween or Wintersday.

I’m fairly certain that ArenaNet has confirmed that the fighting area beneath Divinity’s Reach will be an annual recurring event. It obviously won’t be a Jubilee each year, but it would be akin to an annual tournament type thing.

I honestly don’t recall. Though it would make sense if you did since you were killing watchwork foes that were mesmerized to look like other things.

In general, with Scarlet done, i dont think we will see much watchwork sprocket farms in the near future.
