what would happen if you put 4(four) eternity greatswords into the mystic forge?

it seems that the eternity is the ultimate goal of the MF and by its very mechanics could not yield something greater in return.

…or could it?

You will get a mini Zommoros, and it will go stealing all your loot.

You will get a “Thank You” from Zomorros followed by a laugh and a Rare Cleric’s Greatsword.

You would probably get a broken monitor once you see what you get in return and throw your show at the monitor.

The serious answer is that the forge would give you a random lev 80 exotic greatsword.

my opinion is that you wont be able to put it on the forge. easy try for the ones who have a legendary (not sunrise or twilight maybe).

Minion of Vey is probably right, if you can forge them. There is a video of a player Mystic Forging 4 precursors to get a random exotic back.

As someone else said on another related thread, “a magic hand comes out of your monitor and slaps you”.

eternity is a legendary weapon. precursor is an exotic one. different rarity, feel free to explain how 4 legendaries weapon would create an exotic weapon.

Actually, it’s possible to get a rare weapon if you put 4 exotics, though the chance is small.

if you can link me a thread about that it would be perfect. there must be one i guess, 10g for 50s return would make anyone angry huh?

You get a carrion pearl greatsword.

You get another reminder that the mystic toilet is garbage.

This raises another similar question. If you put ANY four legendarys into the MF would you get an equal or better legendary in return?

Please improve upon Eternity in its current form or no one is even going to bother to make it any more. To be honest footsteps isn’t really enough it would need something worth putting two legendaries together for.

I can’t say if it happened with exotics to rares but I know from personal experience it happened with greens to blues. I put in a lot of lvl 80 green swords and kept getting blues back more often than I got rares. I think they may have fixed that but I haven’t used the forge in a few months because of it.

Were they level 80 greens?

If you put in anything less than lv80, and get a blue that is a higher level, then you have gotten something of greater value.

As for Legendaries, I imagine you cannot forge them, but perhaps you would get a different legendary.

If we follow the usual pattern you will either get back 1 Eternity or 1 Ascended Greatsword …

You get a message saying get a life and lol from mystic toilet

Zomorros gives you a letter stating the following:

“Due to suspected exploitation of the mystic forge, your account has been temporarily closed until further notice.”

u get a mini pet mesmer poping out and breaking the game.

Cuz mesmers always break the game with teleports and portals…

Zommoros will take a physical form and raise from the forge. He will then kill the 6 gods, dismantle the eternal alchemy, banish the spirits of the wild, make the pale three wither and will make all charr-technology malfunction.
Next up he will take control over the dragons and enslave all races, happily taking over the entire world wielding 4 eternities.
He will give every of his minions only poreus bones to drop and will scatter 3 legendary weapons across the wold for players to find. The races will rebel against each other to take possession of the weapons and he will enjoy the show.

Seriously though, I doubt you can even put 1 eternity in the forge.

If you throw 4 greateswords into the mystic forge you get back a random greatsword.
So if you throw in 4 Eternity’s you will get back a random greatsword and ragequit the game forever.

You will get the Gift of Ohgodwhathaveidone
