whats a good way to earn gold
Try running some dungeons. I’ve found it’s a decent way to earn gold fairly easily.
Running dungeons are a good way to earn some extra gold if at the same time you are collecting tokens for rewards.
It’s possible to make money while crafting when you max out a craft. However, to make a profit you will either use materials you have collected, or provide a service for other players who want max gear crafted for them. Just charge them a small fee if you like.
It’s believed that crafting Accessories is the most profitable because all professions use accessories, and the accessories themselves require less materials compared to other crafts, albeit they are more expensive.

A couple of remarks.
First, crafting to make coin and running dungeons are not mutually exclusive. You can do both (and earn more/have more fun).
Second, all professions have something which is profitable. You just got to take the time to find out which product it is. You then have to find out at what price you should buy the mats (FIRST RULE IN CRAFTING: PLACE BUY ORDERS ONLY) to for your product to be profitable – and worth your time.
Third. The “fee” (profit) you’re charging is, unfortunately, not picked by you. You do not have the coin to run the market. All you can do right now is ride it. So check the profit margins; if it’s good, go for it.
Four. A large number of professions are profitable through VOLUME, not profit margin. One thousand times 10 copper is still 1 gold. You can sell some products by the thousands, per hour. It’s a tricky business though if you do it, you have to know your product first, as well as the markets for the underlying materials to make that product.
Five. You have to take the time to experiment. See how quick products sell, how quick buy orders are filled, etc etc etc. Once you’re done experimenting, you’re set for years to come.
I’m not gonna give specifics but a good way to get a bankroll is dungeons. They are easy you get tokens. If you need money, do this. Now when you get a decent amount of money and mats accumulated there are plenty of things you can make that will make you 100g+ profit.
I keep seeing run dungeons for gold, but how does tokens translate into money?

First thing to remember. Running dungeons give you money for the chest and loot, but this is how tokens get to money:
When you get tokens you can buy armour. You should buy the rare helms wich is 30 tokens each. Then you either:
1. Salvage them for glob of ectoplasm (Not recommended because i am PRETTY sure they nerfed it. For me, i have salvaged 14 hoods in the last days, with only 2 globs)
OR
2. Mystic forge them. Buy 4 hoods, throw them in the mystic forge, and get another rare or maybe even exotic out of it. I did this, and on my first try, i got an exotic to 2 gold
Another way (not recomended unless you do dungeons ALOT) Buy the exotic greatsword. They cost 330 tokens per ( i think, its around 300-330 atleast) so buy 4 of them, and forge them. You will garanteed get an exotic greatsword back, and if you are lucky, you might get Dusk to 500+ gold or maybe dawn to 400 gold +

If you run CoF (path 1 can take 10 minutes or less with an experienced group), you get tokens to buy gear. If you don’t need gear from that dungeon, you can buy the trash rares with them. Then salvage them for ectos and materials. The rares have to be at least 70 for ectos, I believe, and the CoF rares are 75.
I also make about a gold a path run in CoF, and that’s without Omnom Bars(Warrior so omnom pie is my life).
If you have a build that allows it, grab some omnom bars, potions of charr killing, and get a group together. Even with an unexperienced group, you can do it in 30 minutes tops and get a guaranteed 2 rares with the 60 tokens you’ll get.
I also buy t5 silk or leather (usually dirt cheap) and craft some rares to salvage for ectos. That one’s a bit more of a gamble and depends on the price of t5 materials. For awhile, they were below a silver a piece. Now that they’re back to 1s+ it’s a bit more of a riskier investment.

I had never even thought of this…great idea with the MF stuff! I might do this with my AC tokens.
