My first reaction to the results were: Awh… it could have been absolutely awesome to have a Fractal with Abaddon.
- Like so many other GW1 players, I really miss to see some more reference from GW1. Not in telling the same stories, but seeing how events have changed the world and such, and I found that “hey, maybe one should give that reactor fractal a chance.”

If you look at Warcraft 3 and then how or rather what the quests in WoW was about, you’d find that Vanilla WoW had a lot of quests explaining to the players what had happened in the four years that divided the two games, and what had to be done now. The events that players had experienced in Warcraft 3 had made an impact on the world of warcraft.
- And yeah, I know WoW is taboo to talk about on the forums, but I’ve been missing that aspect of 250 years dividing GW1 and 2 and all the lore in between seemed so insignificant it could be summarized through NPC conversations that we could eavesdrop on in the world and that would be enough.

- I would’ve preferred the Abaddon Fractal, but maybe it’s better for us to get some history lessons about events that we have not already played out before. I don’t know, and maybe there are better ways of telling us the amount of story in between than through fractals, but nevertheless I am a bit excited to see how the new fractal will look.

- Feel free to share some thoughts if you like, but this is what just came to mind after doing some thinking on it.
(I’d still like an Abaddon Fractal… mayhap they’ll make it later)

I’m a GW1 player and I love references to the original game.

Yesterday, I re-roll and decided to explore DR but this time I did something different: I explored the whole city WALKING.
This allowed me to see things I never saw before and while exploring Rurikton ,I catched the references to GW1 (all the npc’s related to npc’s from GW1) and I was like HOLY COW, that awesome (I didn’t feel like that since I saw Old Lion’s Arch for the first time Q_Q).

However, Fractals aren’t the best place for this kind of thing. We have a fractal about the searing and what? It’s just run to point A, kill, kill, run to pont B, kill, kill, success.
No story, no lore, no references, nothing to say “woot, I miss GW1” and worst, we are turned into charrs (thank Grenth is bugged and the last 3 times I’ve been there I kept my real form).

Why fix the Necromancer for free when we can charge $$$ for the Revenant
