Question in title! Just coming back after a break and I’m loving the look of these weapons, but I don’t have the gold on hand at the moment to get the ones I want and I don’t trust my luck with those RNG chests. Do I have time to take it slow or are these weapons disappearing with the end of living story segment? Thanks for any and all help you can give me.

The skins will be sticking around permanently on the Black Lion Weapon Specialist and Black Lion Claim Tickets / scraps will continue to drop from Black Lion Chests, BUT the price for the skins will be going up quite a bit after August 5th.

Right now, you can get a skin for 1 Black Lion Claim Ticket (or 10 scraps converted into 1 claim ticket). After August 5th, they’ll be 5 Claim Tickets each, or 50 converted scraps.

The price on the TP will likely rise accordingly. Also, all of the actual weapons with stats (the ones that drop rarely from the Candidate Trials) will cease to drop altogether, so those will probably go up even more and probably disappear completely pretty fast since there are only a handful of each skin on the TP as it is.

So you can take it slow, but you’ll end up paying more if you do.

That’s totally fine with me, I just want the chance to someday have my Pistol / Shield combo. Thanks for the in depth answer, great to hear.
