Hi,

my guild mate encountered a bug yesterday with the Kiel: Direct Support achievement where you have to complete Tier 1 and 2 of the Candidate Trials.

I had done them before, so he joined my instance and since mine was unlocked all the way to Tier 4, I had to downgrade so we could run Tier 1 and 2.

Problem was that we ran them in reverse order, so after completing Tier 2, my mate got the Kiel: Direct Support 1/2, but when we then ran Tier 1 afterwards, it didn’t complete.

You have to run Tier 2 twice. The second half of it won’t get completed unless you do the higher tier of the two. It’s not a bug.

I’m confident there is a bug in there. I ran tiers1-4 in reverse order and for some reason some of my runs didn’t count. It didn’t help that names of the tiers that the NPC uses are different from the achievement panel, but I’m confident I ran tier 4,3,2,1 and didn’t get the second half of my achievement. I got kitten ed off with it (it wasn’t even hard, just tedious because I had done the Evon ones just before) and walked away.

They have to be done in order. You must first do 1 and then 2, which will complete the first achievement and unlock the next one. You can then do 3 and then 4.

1…2…3…4. They must be done in that order for EACH candidate.

A friend of mine has made a mistake of making 1-2-4 for Ellen. Now she cannot get final achievement for tier 3.

She tried 1-2-3-4
She tried 3 only
She tried 1-2-3-4-3

We spent about 5 hours trying to figure it. We have even won 1-2-3-4 straight in a row. Nothing.
