Friends, it is common knowledge that Captain Ellen Kiel was instrumental in the terrorist bombing of privately owned ships on the shore of Southsun Cove. The loss of life and property was substantial by all accounts.

Yet has this terrorist been charged for her crimes? Has there even been an investigation in to these and her other devious crimes?

Since the leadership of Lion’s Arch has clearly decided to pull the wool over their eyes it is up to us, true citizens of Lion’s Arch, to enact justice with our own hands.

I call on all who cannot stand injustice to locate and place Captain Ellen Kiel under citizen’s arrest so she may answer her misdeeds.

If you were after true justice you would slay all of Lion’s Arch. No such thing as a good pirate.

Once the terrorist is in charge you might just get your wish. I wonder how many other people are on her hitlist once she gets true power.

Privately owned ship? Sorry, but no.

That was Lionguard ship that she knowingly scuttled. No lives were lost. All that were lost were Consortium contracts that were knowingly signed by people under a lot of stress who didn’t know what they were signing.

Now if you look at who is in charge of the Lionguard, you will see that it is Magnus, the Bloody Handed. Who I believe approved of Kiel’s actions (if you watched the cutscene after the ship was scuttled). The same Magnus who is vying to get her seated alongside himself in the Captain’s Council.

So before you accuse her of terrorism, you may want to check your facts.

If Kiel is terrorist, Evon is not even better: He has power (money), but not used it to help the refugee (Black lion need more person to be called by player, which mean black lion always need people). The worse thing he did is helping consortium to sell their boxes >>> which lead to consortium support. (this is only from 2nd SC events)

In first SC event, Evon do the same thing. He helps consortium by allowing them to sell their chest. Meanwhile what Kiel did ? She led LA guards (and players) to secure SC island, and take down ancient karka in it habitat. For what ? So LA can be safe.

I suppose they were magical ships that sailed themselves. You’re living in a dream world.

Magnus may well be as culpable as Kiel, clearly she has to have some co-conspirators in order to avoid any official investigation in to her blowing up ships.

>All that were lost were Consortium contracts that were knowingly signed by people under a lot of stress who didn’t know what they were signing.

Are you implying that Norn and Char are incapable of reading? No, what really happened is that a few layabouts took advantage of Consortium resources and then wanted to slip out of their obligations without fulfilling their obligations.

Who knows how much of their ill-gotten gains they slipped under the table to Kiel to encourage her terrorist activities.

It’s called abandoning ship. Which was done if you actually payed any attention at all to the dialogue in the ‘Escort the Consortium dolyak to the ship’ instance.

All that were lost were Consortium contracts that were knowingly signed by people under a lot of stress who didn’t know what they were signing.

It’s called ‘legal speak’, which is highly hinted at the Consortium using to trick people into being conscripted. Again, it seems you have avoided actually seeing the dialogue and lore scattered throughout. You may want to look into that before you make any more baseless claims.

Ellen Kiel is an agent of the Lionguard, and thus a fully sanctioned government agent. I don’t believe “terrorist” applies to someone doing the government’s bidding in said government’s own territory, towards the purpose of freeing innocents (who were under the government’s protection) from the control of an extra-national financial organization.

She didn’t murder anyone if you payed any attention at all to dialogue.

I heard what Kiel claimed.

Inspector Ellen Kiel: Luckily, my Lionguard had orders to clear the ship if anything unexpected happened.

Sounds like BS to me. What was the something ‘unexpected’- explosions? I’m not sure clearing a deck while explosions happen means that everyone got to safety.

She’s clearly willing to lie about bombing the ship, why would you think lying about Consortium deaths would phase her? She clearly considers them evil, all because refuges willingly signed contracts for personal enrichment.

Note that the Consortium guy right there when the ship blew said nothing about the crew. Only mentioned the records. I’m pretty sure if she blew up the crew he would have said something.

Again, that action is against everything the chara has been built up as. Combine that with the fact that she did say that the Lionguard had orders to evacuate the decks (meaning not just themselves) and it is obvious that she set up the situation. It becomes obvious that the ship blew up with noone on board. Only arguments against are pure propaganda and are based on absolutely nothing.

I don’t live in Lions Arch (none of us do), so how can we be true citizens?

To be honest, I don’t see why I should help LA get an agreement with the Bazaar (which is essentially what this ‘election’ amounts to) when I should be negotiating on behalf of the Grove! (Or helping Caithe to do so, as the Zephyrites love Destiny’s Edge)

Seriously OP? We all kill and murder people for what we believe is good or because our superiors tell us to do so.

OH and as far as I’ve read the lore, Lions Arch isn’t a democracy by the people for the people. The captains council decided how and what. The council members are not elected by the people, but by the other council members.

You as a Lions Arch citizen have no rights…. there’s no democracy in GW2.

But please rise up, so you can be labeled a separatist or terrorist.
So I can legally put you to the sword.

Just look at Logan and Rytlock. They made a bearbaiting theater go up in flames, but Magnus and his cronies still threw them in jail. Have fun manacled in a prison cell in LA! /sarcasm

I won’t be labeling people, never said that, but the captains council will, as OP is calling out against the captains council. =D
Seeing as Magus is on Kiel’s side, I’m not too worried

I’ll just simply follow the guest to kill the separatist or terrorist. I’ll be legally putting people to the sword in the name of god and country. Oh sorry, I mean the captains council. Simple really.
