Honestly I’m disgusted by how some of you are acting. And I know that doesn’t mean much coming from some random player but really? Between the floods on reddit, tumblr and twitter of horrible, sexiest, raciest and down right cruel and sick comments about the results only does one thing.
You guys are making fools out of yourself and giving GW2 a HORRIBLE name.

This is horrible behavior from a group of of adults. If a videogame election has your panties in such a bunch that you need to react with such negativity and anger you REALLY need to take a hard look at your life. You make us all look like horrible, no life, rude, degenerates who stamp our feet when ever we don’t get our way. So basicly bratty children.
Now to clear up a few things, if Anet REALLY wanted Evon to win they would have made it so. And from what I recall that video only gives the opinion of one staff member while the other stayed silent on the issue. If they were dead set on Evon’s fract they would have never made it a vote to begin with.
Secondly you really think Anet is going to throw out a lore heavy run just because it didn’t win? To make it available on time they need to have been working on BOTH the runs and have them fleshed out if not nearly finished meaning the items, content, actions, layout, backgrounds, NPC’s and any voice acting is most likely complete for both. Or at least on it’s way. Chances are we will get Evon’s fract at some point. Maybe not this year, maybe it will be revamped and presented differently but that lore is there and it kinda needs to be given to us somehow. Maybe we get a whole dungeon run out of it. Story and exp included! You don’t know.
And on the level of you guys don’t know, those claiming Anet is being lazy and is just going to half kitten the reactor, I’m sorry I didn’t know you were on the developing team and knew just what the run was going to entail. Do you have clips, footage, or have you been through the fract to know first hand that it’s crap? No you don’t. You want it to be bad and hope it is so you have a point to all your whining and foot stomping because right now you don’t. It was a vote left up to the players and you lost. Get over it.
In a 50/50 chance someone had to lose. You should have known that going into it, but you set yourself up for disappointment if you invest yourself so greatly into a toss up. Kiel was ahead each time they did a mid way tally. Sure Evon could have pushed ahead in the end but looking at how the votes were going Evon was trailing, so you should have been prepared to lose…at a video game vote that doesn’t directly effect your life in any way shape or form that is of any real meaning.
And honestly guys, are any of you REALLY going to pay that much attention to this run? All the groups I’m in speed though everything no matter how lore heavy it is. Skipping cinematics, bosses, NPC dialogue and even leaving and re-enterting the fracts if people just don’t REALLY feel like doing that one. You’ll listen once get the general idea and speed though without knowing a thing about what’s going on.
And to drill this home for you, I was an Evon supporter. Though I’m excited to see the asura content and what could have happened in the reactor, (because remember we an get a way past when it happened or far future of the effects of the explsion) I was also excited for even more so for Evon’s, as a long time player for GW1. So this BS about Kiel voters not knowing or even caring is just that, BS.
But the point is there, your acting like children. Being HORRIBLE on map chat and shouting at Anet about a vote that was honestly 100% out of their hands once it was in place.
You guys REALLY want to get the run? Be adults, write e-mails and letters, start a petition or forum about it. Get people together calmly and ask Anet to add in the one you want too. Don’t threaten, scream and curse out other plays and developers because they are just going to roll their eyes and so ‘Well if this is how you act when you want something we will just never give players a say’ You’re ruining it for the rest of us who are being mature.
In short, grow up. Be adults. Stop with the slander, accusations and just rude behavior that’s above a 5 year old.
