The website advertising the event said the time for support was the 23rd to the 5th.

Since everything seems to roll over at 5:00 server time, I found it quite surprising for the election to be called shortly after I logged on at 11:00 server time. What the heck is that all about? Guildwars team, if you are going to call things mid-day, it would be nice for you to post that on either the wiki or the official announcement page (link above). I ended up seeing the note about voting before 11:00 – When I went to post something on the forum -.- Information like that should be more prominent, and not only pop up when you take an unspecified action. Communicate, guys. That’s all I’m asking. No where on that page does it say anything about 11:00, and that’s where we should expect to find the straight information.

Support tokens for Evon Gnashblade and Ellen Kiel will no longer be accepted at Zephyr Sanctum after 11 a.m. PST on August 5.

Again, not a prominent place. Should have been posted on the main event page. Would have taken one sentence. If they can list the days, they could have just as easily listed the time.

It would of been nice if they had a post show up on screen when we logged in over the past few days telling us to get are voting done. As i didn’t even know voting was over till i got home from work had 100+ tokens saved up to thought it was ending at the end of the day today.

The patch notes are posted on the main event page, and it quite clearly says that you can vote until the 5th. Nothing about time, so why assume that means the whole of the 5th?

I don’t read the patch notes because it so much crap that I really don’t care about. They can post it in game announcing the final day, like today is the last day to vote etc.

It would be very very nice if we could at least turn in our support tickets for buttons.

I had no idea the voting would be over at midday on the 5th, and I had over a stack of tickets I wanted to turn in last minute (and yes I was going to vote for Gnashblade). I logged in at 1pm PST and found the voting was closed. No buttons in my inventory to keep up with achievements now.

What’s going to be done about this?

Yeah I’m not sure why they keep doing this. The starting and ending dates of every event have been placed everywhere with the exception of the main page. It would probably help people a lot if they made it clearer for future events. Why small, but significant changes like this can’t be made, I will never understand.

Buy the yellow buttons * unlimited use * off the broker. Mine were 5 and 6 silver each.
