Jade Quarry
Good Job on the Mini Games This Time Around
Jade Quarry
Dragon Ball > Aspect Arena.
Since I liked Spirit Watch sPvP map I also like the Arena – does not make the mistake to spawn only 1 crystal(Spirit Watch: Orb). More crystals spawning makes it more interesting.
Also it is more team based cause you need to protect and attack crystal runners. Dragon Ball was only about killing? (I don’t really remember it anymore but I can’t remember any other objectives).
Dragon Ball was inherently flawed to me because the first person (or team) to get the first few kills ended up being able to get all the power ups pretty easily while the other team had nothing. The more you killed, the stronger you became. If you died, the weaker you became. That’s terrible balance. I think they did much better with Aspect Arena.

Southsun Survival is perfect, the Arena is ok but has too many bugs and flaws inherent with the team and aspect oriented gameplay. Afkers, zerg ganking, shooting off into the blue, glitching – all that is absent in the survival.
both aspect arena and southsun survival are fun.
for me, that is.
i see a lot of complaints on the forums though.
some people just like to complain.
some bugs need to be fixed asap though
Dragon Ball > Aspect Arena.
Haha, that’s a good one. Zerg Ball was the worst mini-game to ever grace GW2.

To keep on topic:
I have only tried Aspect Arena yet.
Initial toughts:
Ok, so a pvp arena style capture the flag thing. Gotta learn the moves quick.
Results:
Ended up playing for 2,5 hours straight, getting all the achievments, winning 90% of the games, and having a lot of fun. After like 20 games, I still have no idea how long a match lasts because I never was looking at the timer.
Great fun this one is.
I’ll have a shot at Survival once I get home.
aspect arena rounds last 5 minutes only.
the team with highest score wins.
winning team gets a metal chest while losing team gets a wooden chest.

I know right? Opened 12 splendid chests at once.
On a related note, “Thank you for the great backpacks”
or well “At least thank you for the Zephyr Rucksack!”
Words can’t express how happy I am they made this apparently bland looking rucksack which fits so perfectly into my Norn ranger theme, bird in training included. The fact that it fails to be appreciated by the majority of the players and is thus both cheap and rarely seen is just too good.
I applaud your introduction of visually unappealing rewards which can shine gloriously when styled around!
And no, I was not sarcastic.
I rarely enjoy the mini games in GW2, but Aspect Arena hooked me. I agree the achievements seem to cause people to concentrate on just going for crystal bearers and not winning, but I still enjoy it. Considerably better than the abominable dragon bash one
