Southsun Survival is just… an awful minigame. I have never had such little fun playing a game. Even winning yields the same results, so don’t say, “Oh it’s because you’re bad at it you think it’s bad.” let me tell you that even people who are bad at something can still critic it, however I am not bad at it. So let’s go over what’s horribly wrong with it.

Southsun Survival is just… an amazing minigame. I have never had so much fun playing a game within a game(gameception). I do wish winning would grant slightly better rewards but I don’t mind, I’ve been playing it cause I’ve enjoyed it rather than for the rewards.

I like the start, you either grab something and risk getting shot, clobbered or trapped in the process, or you run off for adventures somewhere else, I’ve also died right off the start on purpose, because if you’re unlucky during the initial stages, you might end up with low hp and no rations, killing yourself during the grace period grants you a ration + an arrow, which in some cases have put me at a better position than where I was before I died.
That you complain about it being crowded does kinda tell that you are at best average at this, for starters the play-area is huge, during the start theres countless of places where you can get into cover quickly enough to avoid most of the zergfest that will take place for the first 1-1½ minutes.
The headshot ability is of little concern as both ability 1 and 3 interupts it aswell as its channel being long enough for you to be able to line of sight it the majority of the time, my one concern with this is when someone gets out of a camo kit there will be no animation for them casting it, thus timing your dodge is hell.

I just can’t agree with this, theres enough ways to counter it, I personally haven’t really been using it much lately, I prefer crippling my opponents.

The karkas are easily dodged even when they spawn right ontop of you, the karkas are also vital for shorting the game down as they can cut off access to the various camps and thus limit the amount of supplies accessible to the survivalists, thus they are infact reducing both food and utilities availible. The one issue I have here is that the ghosts spawn right ontop of the person who killed them, thus a better player will be running around with a trail of ghosts spamming traps and karkas on them, a more appropriate approach may be to randomly teleport the ghost.

The grace period points are easily stackable if you stick around the start and fire at people, it is horribly boring tho however I’ve yet to see anyone doing this be the last charr standing.
One thing I believe could be appropriate tho would be to give people 10 points per stack of hunger they survive up to, so if you survive up to hunger*2 = 20p, hunger*3 = 30p etc, most games end at hunger*4 and that gives the later survivors a slight boon in points over the ones early deadified.

This is the greatest mini game ever! So fun and intense, I really don’t understand the hate.
The only thing I want changed is the veteran karka shooting ability (not the one with red circles, but the one where it just shoots 1 shot stuff at you)

If it makes you mad…Don’t play it. No one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to play this. It is a game. In fact, it’s a game where you can do whatever you want, moreso than any other game I’ve ever seen. If you desperately want the back skin. Buy it on the TP. If you don’t have the money, farm one of the other mini games that are out. Regardless of win or lose, they do give money that’s comparable to CoF p1 farming. If you want the Gnashblade mini, do the other achievements. Pretty simple.

PS. I am not reading your block of text. I don’t have the time or patience. I can already tell what it says for the most part anyways.

Well, I can tell you that your assumption was completely wrong. No one is mad, just stating why the mini game is a failure.

I don’t think you do Simplicity. In fact, even though the tone was very negative, the OP makes some sound remarks about some of the mechanics. It’s more of a ‘this could be so much better balanced’ rather than a ‘omg this sucks!!1!’ post.

The tone is negative because I really want a mini game that isn’t completely flawed like the ones they are giving us. Also, I always swear and do not like to sensor myself. Cursing doesn’t always mean anger. Also pointing out the comments people make, “mad cuz bad” and such also make me seem rather negative.

The major flaw with Southsun Survival are the player ghosts. It would be really boring if dead players couldn’t participate in some way but letting them summon karka is going way overboard.

I say all they should be able to do is pick up the orbs and set the alarm traps that trigger when a player steps on them. The orbs shouldn’t count towards your overall score and only count towards laying alarm traps. Hell, I’d even been fine with them laying crippling traps. I do not like the idea of them being able to spawn something that damages or doing any sort of damaging ability.

Let me guess, he’s complaining about champion karka &/or dying immediately after spawning? If you were around during BWE#3 you’d know this is a massive improvement. If you disagree with the mechanics, then don’t play the game is all I’m saying. If you really want people to take you seriously, speak calmly and logically about your points. Don’t sound like you’re raging over losing.

Swearing doesn’t automatically assuming raging. Also, you should probably read it because you have no idea what you are talking about. You talk about being logical, yet you won’t read the argument? What a shame.

Except it’s not a failure. It’s actually the best minigame to date (or at least the best minigame that I’ve played so far). If you want a failure, look no further than the aspect arena – now that is horrible. Not that I expected anything better from the game sponsored by Kiel…

Why shouldn’t the person killing everyone get high points. The survivor that’s just hiding in the corner, never killing a single person shouldn’t get anything. The game is meant to have an overseer that prevents that type of play by either forcing that person to move or directing others towards that location. Since it’s not possible to give that position to a player, because it would just be abused, the dead players are meant to take on this role.

If the length of your survival meant everything, the game would be incredibly boring as more and more people began hiding in the far off corners of the map. It’s not just a survival game, it’s a hunt.

It’s a game based on survival, you should get more points for living. Exactly, it’s a hunt for player vs player. This game doesn’t really do that. The ghost idea is cool and all, but they shouldn’t be able to kill people, just alert locations and cripple.

The only issue are the 2.500!!! points you need for one of the achievements. I will most likely need 50-80 games to complete it… and that’s a huge amount of time.
The minigame is fun, but grinding it in the short period of 2 weeks will just be a pain for me and as it seems, a lot of other players out there.

The grinding is annoying, but it’s something that can be done easily. They just want you to play their mini game.

This is a fairly asinine post. You’re saying that if someone doesn’t enjoy something they shouldn’t point out ways they think it could be improved? Why be so against legitimate criticism?

And even less impressively you’re not even bothering to read his points to see if they’re reasonable or not, but you’re going to respond anyway?!

To the OP – seems like fairly reasonable criticism. Hopefully it will help the devs fine-tune future content (although personally I hope future content contains far fewer minigames – am exhausted by them now!)

I will say I did seem very negative, but it is hard to not be negative when pointing out what makes a game bad. My argument needs to be worked on to a bit and remove the cursing.

I agree, the mini games are getting annoying. They really are not that fun to me. They have somewhat improved the mini games, however not by much and most of the past mini games were better. I like the idea of mini games, but they just need improvement.

Actually southsun survival is the only minigame i have really enjoyed so far in gw2, every kitten game is an exciting

<3 southsun survival.

Btw the headshot ability is only ok if the person you are aiming for does not look, otherwise you can dodge it easy. A red arrow flying at you is pretty easy dodge :P

Good point, but depending on the class and race, the ability charges differently. For example: Norn Females stand still with the bow in the air and sometimes it doesn’t even look like they are charging, whereas Norn Males crouch all the way down and is very obvious.
The other problem is the red arrow. Colorblind players can’t see it. I can’t actually see the red around it and until now I didn’t know it was red lol.

If I made a post all in caps with “kitten” for every third word. I guarantee you wouldn’t read it either. I don’t read rage posts. They’re not full of constructive criticism. Constructive criticism is organized, grammatically correct, emotionally neutral, and usually with a tldr; version at the bottom capitalizing on key points. If OP goes back and revises his post to be more calm. I certainly will hear him out.

You’ve spent far more time arguing your empty case than it would have taken to just read the post. Not only this, but your own expectation is rather moot when you consider that every other person in this thread read his points and agree with him in a respectful manner. Don’t be so superior about it. If you can’t be bothered to read it because you don’t like it’s format, don’t bother posting. It’s the same logic as “if you don’t like the mini-game, don’t play it”.

Well done though OP. You’ve identified some legitimate issues. We absolutely SHOULD be giving feedback on any issues we encounter in content. Anet even ask for that….

You shouldn’t be able to die upon spawn in a game like this anyway. Whenever that happens in a PvP game it usually gets fixed later on. It’s particularly important in online games because a system like this needs to compensate for individual latency issues. It means people can at least spawn and try the game even if their net speed is not quite as good as others. Considering the game will stay around as a permanent-ish addition, I’m sure they will look at balance such as spawn locations, invulnerability on spawn (Coupled with actions being on cooldown), enemy spawns etc. Also that one-shot might be revised a little but who knows? They will need more feedback like this to improve the system.

Thanks, there are a lot of things they need to work on that’s why I like to give feedback on what I feel. I also like to read everyone’s opinions on the matter. Hopefully Anet takes what the players say into consideration. Even if they don’t change something, I would like them to at least think about what is said.

Survival is the best as it is now. If you die first, you are lucky. You will respawn somewhere lots of goods to scavenge at. If you are dead you can still get points and be 1st. I did it lots of time but being 1st or x’th does not matter anyways. And if you died because of a karka, just accept it. It is the survival of the fittest, not the crying babies.

You need to reread what was posted and develop a better argument. You contradicted yourself by saying “If you are dead you can still get points and be 1st.” and then proceeded to say, “it’s survival of the fittest,”.

Your first two statements were good, but the rest was awful.

I think it would be better if dead players were just that… dead. Give them their consolation prize, then remove them from the game. Automatically (or have the option) join another game. This way its more of a survival game, and less or a “be the best at hiding from invisible foes” kind of game.

The feeling when you’re going around with a low amount of supplies, and seeing another person in the distance (too far to check their supplies), and you know that they see you too is really fitting for the game. Its a shame that if you just happened to be the one that the defeated players stumbled upon first then you are the one that will lose the fight against that other player you happen across.

Also if you don’t like the crowded starting position, do what several other people do… just get a head start to the rest of the map while the rest of the people are scrambling over the pile of supplies. Scrambling over the big pile of supplies at the start is not necessarily the winning strategy.

Also, the karka is the easiest wisp ability to avoid ever. I like it when I see people use karka’s on me because it means that they aren’t using the actual useful skills on me.

My two biggest complaints about survival is the Pistol you can get at the very start.
I’ve been shot with it, there’s no cast time for it. Click, bang, dead instantly.
It’s a guaranteed 1-shot kill so whoever grabs the pistol just needs to find the guy who manages to get enough rations, pop him once, kill em, grab his stuff.

The ghosts I also feel are overpowered.

When it’s down to the final 3-4 people, the ghosts DO decide who wins.
The karka is annoying because of how powerful it is, summoning it below someone stuns them, and it FOLLOWS YOU ALL OVER THE PLACE…

Ghosts should be an annoyance, not a Grim Reaper floating around.
People say it’d be boring without ghosts since people would hide
They do have the trap that makes you a Beacon, although the additional damage it does is kinda BS.

Anybody who has a hard time dodging headshot should probably be playing another video game title. ^_________________________^

I have high ping and I keep getting hit by headshot mid-dodge (literally while the dodge animation is ongoing). I actually have to dodge before the skill fires, which makes it considerably harder since I have to rely on timing rather than a visual cue. But oh well.

The pistol is one of my only complaints – I’ve seen someone hold on to it until there were only 2 left and then kill the other guy instantly. Other guy cried BS and pretty much everyone who was there agreed.

My other complaint is a certain hiding spot which is also a choke point that makes you nearly immune to everything except another survivor coming in. Even then, you can lay a few traps in front of you, there’s only one way in and even Karka spawns can’t harm you in there, so if you get there first you win unless you starve. One guy abused this spot a lot and got several consecutive wins until everyone got fed up and started chasing after him to prevent him from getting in there.

Basically, what annoys me are the tools for cheap wins – I’m all for strategy/scavenging/killing for rations and trying to starve everyone else out, but insta kills and half-invincible spots are a bit much.

I disagree entirely. I think this is Anet’s best minigame yet. I played for several hours straight because I was totally addicted. Each game is unique. While the ghosts are a little overpowered (summoning one shot karka is a bit much, and there was one game where I was continually trapped over and over about 8 times until I died), I think that’s okay given that dead players need something to do. Otherwise, I think it’s quite polished and well thought out.

Other than the ghosts, most of your points aren’t accurate. I’ve died to the one shot arrow like… twice? It is not at all hard to dodge. One of the only times I died to it was when I was totally disarmed (no traps or arrows) and a guy with four arrows caught me in an open field. I dodged three of his one shot arrows before I was out of endurance and he finally got me. I wouldn’t call that “op.” I’d call that “what inevitably happens when an armed combatant meets an unarmed combatant.”

Regarding the points in the grace period… meh, I don’t really care lol. The points aren’t relevant. If you win, it gives you top points regardless. Who cares if someone gets 20 points toward their 2500 point achievement while everyone will resurrect? Seriously. And I often do better when I die during the grace period than not… so your point that it “completely destroys you” is just not accurate. I mean, they gift you a ration and an arrow if you die during grace… often very valuable.

I have only died like once to a head shot and it is still something that should be a skill shot. It one shots you. Anything that powerful should be incredibly hard to hit. The points in the game are not that important compared to the other points I made. The last thing is that when I died during grace period I was completely useless because people have already been there and scavanged everything at the place I spawned.

I really enjoy this minigame but it does need a few adjustments. Like mentioned before, they should encourage players to kill survivors in order to end up high in the ranking. After playing a few games I’ve noticed that hiding in a corner will more likely win the game for me rather than killing people who can then spawn Karkas. That’s when we come to my second point, the Karkas. The fact that dead people can spawn a Karka goes way overboard and it really ruins the minigame. Instead make them spawn a maybe better trap but not those kittening Karkas..

I agree. They should only be allowed traps. Alarm traps, crippling traps, traps that drain energy, ect.. No traps that hurt the living players.

The mini game is like the hunger games, starts off with everyone in a circle around a bunch of good items, and guess what, lotta people die there too but some people run away from the beggining! Nothing says you have to charge in right away or even play the game! Also like the hunger games their are many non contestant things that kill you like starvation, poison, explosives, wildlife so this is how the games intended, I have loved it if you do not than don’t play it

You’re not really understanding much. The things I already stated are what I say again to you, (I don’t have time to retype everything for everyone to understand). Also it doesn’t matter if you don’t like it, there are achievements to get in there. Besides, it was a good idea for a mini game, but as I said it failed. If they fixed some of these problems it would be great. It is just like every mini game they have come out with, they suck.

I was about to post this. I’ve actually done this strategy and the Passiflora will give you Rations (or a bomb, hue), which means that you’ll be able to survive a bit longer while you look for arrows. While I do get a lot of points from staying in the starter camp, it’s not the best of idea’s, because I tend to get stuck in the starter camp while trying to find Rations.

The OP, to me, was an l2p issue. Sure, you say you aren’t bad at it. But perhaps you are bad at it, you’ve just gotten a few lucky wins/high scores. Unless you’re consistently doing good, I believe you shouldn’t be complaining that the implementation was terrible.

I’m not that good of a player in it, but I enjoy it. Why? Because when I get in, to when I die I feel like I’m playing the Hunger Games (or, in this case, Southsun Survival). I know the risks. Whenever I kill a player, I know that they’ll most likely camp me with traps to screw me over. I know that they’ll probably drop a Karka on me (since I stay in the same camp all game, like a baddie). But I still play. It’sa survival game, so I play expecting to die, but I try my best anyways.

As soon as I read, "The OP, to me, was an l2p issue. " your entire comment was irrelevant. What you are saying with that statement is that you have to be good at something to be able to critic what is wrong with it. That response does not help the argument what so ever.

FYI: I stopped reading your comment after I read that quote.

Just stop complaining seriously, it’s PVP you will die that’s the kitten point of it! You get more rewards in this than any mini game I’ve seen before plus the achievements. Some of you really need to grow up

Hmmm, I don’t have much to say to someone who doesn’t understand what arguments and feedback are. Telling people to grow up, who are trying to talk to each other about the good and bad of something, makes you completely useless in this argument and should not be here. If you have nothing constructive to say, then don’t say anything.

Take out the ghosts spawning Karkas. This is the one thing that is spoiling the game. Sure keep in the traps and maybe introduce a different trap which spoils any rations you have and making them only 50% effective.

Also the scoring system is so out of whack. I can survive until the end and have a few points where as someone who dies 2 seconds after the grace period ends and ganked people at the start because they got the pistol can out score me. I thought this game was about “SURVIVAL”, not how many I can kill at the start.

Let the scoring only start AFTER the grace period ends.

The scoring is what I am least concerned about, but I agree with you. The way the game was put together makes it not about survival, but instead about killing people while you’re a ghost or during the grace period. That isn’t survival since they respawn.

- Everybody starting at the same place is just stupid.
- The headshot shouldn’t even be in the game, imo.
- Being a ghost is fun but collecting the balls before being able to do anything is stupid. Especially since other ghosts can still them from you.

That’s about where I am with this.

I think the event could be fun. But I would change this whole thing in a few ways: Spread people out at the beginning. Don’t allow access to the whole island, even Southsun is far too large for the number of players (but at least it’s not all of Metrica Province like Hunger Royale was). And give the ghosts 5 or so powerups when they die.

In several cases I found people when I was a ghost. I could follow them, but do nothing — no ghost nibbles nearby to find, so… fun? Watch them run around and wait until they die?

In many cases I died right at the beginning, ran up to the fire and half-scavenged something and then poof! Dead. No idea how someone else could have scavenged something in the same time and have time to shoot at me.

The very first time I join a game, it’s often in progress. Like Sanctum Sprint. In both cases, it’s a nearly guaranteed loss. First time in the game, I got to read “Instructions” (really not much more than just that word) and then I was dead because I had spawned right in front of someone with ammo. Thanks! That was great.

But after the initial kitten fest, I almost never found anyone alive. Usually hunger would kill me. Once, I found someone but the arrow shot was obstructed by a grain of sand on the beach, and another shot was out of range due to it being nearly melee… but then I died of hunger before the other player could even shoot me. That’s pretty much the extend of the interaction I’ve had.

Oh well. Other things to do in game, at least.

You we’re probably one of the unlucky 2 that got hit by the pistol. Pistol is an almost instant 1hit KO. It also has 2 bullets (which is why I said 2).

I always grab it first and hit 2 people with it so I can steal rations, but I end up dying anyway because I think it’s fun being a ghost.

On a different note: I think Ghosts should get 1 charge every 5-10s (?)

Ghosts need to be completely redone. They are way to op in this minigame. 1 charge every 5-10s right now would increase that to such an incredible level that would ruin the game more.

Ghosts are not OP. There is a very limited supply of charges in the matches, and the ghosts can only take so much before using it. Besides, do you people WANT these matches to last for the full 13+ minutes? I’d rather them end as fast as they currently do so it doesn’t take so long to wait for the next one.

kitten kitten , I DON"T LIKE IT, SO I’LL SAY THAT IT IS BAAAD THING!!!!11!

To the cave you ‘— . I’ll lose my time to awnser you:

Southsun Survival, its a tatical game, where depend totally on player skill and strategy to determine how it will go on. Its very fun, because all players do something different. Some stock and hide, some try to kill all to gather their resources, some just die and kill campers. Its FUN.

About the points you had mentioned:

* “Die at start” : You can actually die at the very start, and due the start period, You will instantly respawn – at a safe place, with 50% healt AND A RATION. What is damm wrong in this point?

  • “That horrible 1-shot arrow” – Not is horrible. Its tatical. It have a 4x more cast time that simple arrow. Actually, 2.1/2 arrows can kill a Full health person, so, its really up to player try it luck with the one-shot arrow, because if the enemy notice, he will kill you while you are charging. Its pure strategy, and actually, the stealth kit makes part of it.
  • “Last thing is the after death stuff” – Its perfect. I’ve killed a couple of your hatred campers. As you know, the living ones can’t free-chase others due to the fear of get dead. But the dead can do it. If you don’t like the karkas, its probably because you is a (Bad) camper. Also, The karkas has a giant spawn time. If you are a minimum skilled, just as you see (Or hear) it spawning, you just have to #5 Run, and do some dodges. Only depends on you skill.
  • “The other thing is the point system” – (wait, the dead stuff its not suposed to be the last one?? ). I really don’t have watched if this is a 100%, but all matchs I’ve played, the last one to survive gain a Giant ammount of points, what simply put he in 1st place. Its right, its a survival game. The others positions is determined due the activity of people in the match, killing others, been more time alive and this sort of thing.

If you, OP, readed my post, awnser me : WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MINI GAME ACTUALLY?

Nothing. And if you don’t liked it is very sample > Don’t play it, or just do it for achievments – Since you don’t even need to win it to receive the achievments actually. I really hated the Aspect arena, and what I’ll do is only play it for achievment and never more step there. I’ll not make a topic here saying thakittens the worst thing of ever, just ’cause I disliked it.

Your first line shows your lack of understanding. What is wrong with this game you ask? What I stated in the post. You have good points, however you cannot argue well. I stand by what I said and what I stated is something that should be worked on in the mini game.

Here’s a hint: when trying to argue, don’t attack the person you are arguing with, it just shows your lack of arguing skills. You should work on that. You should also understand that this post is for giving feedback on the game and to have a calm discussion on the game with it’s good and bad. You have utterly failed to comprehend that. Go and attack other posts that give feedback on something to help improve things and leave this post.

This is the greatest mini game ever! So fun and intense, I really don’t understand the hate.
The only thing I want changed is the veteran karka shooting ability (not the one with red circles, but the one where it just shoots 1 shot stuff at you)

You don’t understand the hate because there is no hate. It is feedback on what is not good in the game. It is a good idea, but it just wasn’t made properly. I love the idea, just not the game.

Anybody who has a hard time dodging headshot should probably be playing another video game title. ^_________________________^

Not sure if that was too me, but I am assuming it is. I agree, but there are many problems with what you said. There are colorblind people who play this game, I myself am colorblind and can’t see any circles on the ground except the white ones, does that mean I should just never play this game again because Anet won’t implement a colorblind mode? I understand what you are saying is for the mini game itself, but you did not specify. There are many peoples with your comment when spoken along the lines I was on.

No one is mad, just stating why the mini game is a failure.

Except it’s not a failure. It’s actually the best minigame to date (or at least the best minigame that I’ve played so far). If you want a failure, look no further than the aspect arena – now that is horrible. Not that I expected anything better from the game sponsored by Kiel…

I will say I don’t agree with you, except for the aspect arena I completely agree with you. The only mini games that are good that they release was the Snowball pvp game for Christmas, the rest were not good and are failures. They are getting better, but at a very, very slow rate.

You do bring up a good point, but still not a good enough solution for the player vs ghost/karka. The game is about survival against players so why should you be able to die because of ghosts? The matches may last for a long time without it, but still that is no solution to the problem. The solutions I suggest are: a timer or ghosts have all traps that do something special. Traps that cripple, alert your location, steal your rations and your equipment, ect.

OK, so I gave this another try tonight. In fact… a lot of other tries.

I’m now at about 60% for the high score achievement, and played about 20-30 rounds of the Southsun Survival. I feel that I’ve learned a whole lot more about the game in that time.

Problem: I still say the map is too ridiculously large. Nine times out of ten, the final survivors were the ones that grabbed a dozen rations, found a spot to hide, and sat there. There’s very little inclination to move around near the end. And almost every time I saw that, there were tons of ghosts hanging around — all powerless because all the motes were already used up.

Possible solution: Give ghosts a mark in the elite slot. Not a trap, because sitting in one spot doesn’t trigger traps. Triggered like a necromancer mark, this would spoil the remaining rations of the person sitting there. They lose rations more quickly the longer they sit in the same spot. I would expect this mark to be a very long cooldown, or only used once. But just something to prevent the last ones from just sitting there doing nothing while everyone else waits.

Alternate solution: Increase the spawn rate of the revenge motes, so the ghosts can do more to keep things moving. Sitting in one spot? Ha! Say hello to my little karka friend.

Yeah, I’m suggesting to make ghosts stronger. Mostly because the last few players aren’t directly fighting each other any more, they’re just hiding.

Problem: The initial zerg rush to the supplies is just… silly. Not only does it mean instant death if someone gets the pistol, but with so many other people around even without the pistol there’s death abounding. So most of the time it doesn’t even matter if you pick up something useful, you’re likely to lose it anyway. Note that running away immediately was a possible solution, but given the nearby locations for supplies, I typically ran into the same issue — too many players nearby.

Solution: Obvious. Start people at random supply camps.

Problem: Obstructed messages when the terrain is slightly lumpy. I lost count of the number of times my head shot was obstructed by dust motes in the air — the only thing I can think of, since there wasn’t anything else between me and the target (who was typically focused on shooting someone else, so it’s not even like they were moving).

No solution — this is an ongoing problem throughout the game, and many many ranged skills that should hit simply miss with an “obstructed” message. Annoying bug in the game, though.

Overall — I think the game is fun enough. But there are some glaring annoyances. And like finding a worm in your slice of apple pie, it makes the whole thing seem less attractive than it really should be. I think that’s why I find these things so irritating. The game is so close to being fun, but not quite there.

Of course because I like achievement points and dislike half-filled bars, I’ll continue. But I still wish it was a little bit better, then I’d be able to call it truly fun.

Please start doing so, it’s a pain to read through comments (which I have been doing, just not yours) and then see that one guy who posts. And again. And again. And again. And again. It’s like he’s having a conversation with himself (especially when he quotes himself, which I see much too often in these forums). Yes, people will quintuple post and quote themselves in that quintuple post not realizing that they’re talking to themselves.

i like the idea of giving ghosts a mark but the damaging trap needs to be removed in place of it, you cant punish people for sitting still and also punish them for moving at the same time…..revenge motes are not as rare as a noob ghost might think

spawn into a game….get spawn camped….roam around mist form = survival. There are far better things to do in tyria then waste my time in mist form. Thanks Anet but no thanks. By far the worst mini game ever.
