More details on tomorrows patch.
Surely, SURELY, the sensible thing with the achievements would be to only have to support one candidate to get them all.
Having to support both of them just to tick off some boxes (and get associated rewards) will break the ‘story’ for lots of people and kind of ruins the idea of supporting one or the other…

And surely you don’t actually NEED to get all 12 achievements if you feel that it would hurt the story?
People that actually cares about the story are most likely not that bothered with the achievements anyway.

No, you don’t need to. However, with new rewards for achievement points and the fact they are temporary driving people to do them I felt that it was an invalid argument and no-one would use it anymore.
Oh well, seems I was wrong about the latter. Remember that a lot of people use the achievements as a checklist for doing all the content.
Still, I would agree that those who are bothered about the story won’t mind too much. Still, it may stop others from being interested, as they may just go ‘Oh, I need to support both to get (insert reward here) therefore I don’t need to worry about the story’. Somewhat less engaging than it could have been, I feel.

or have different characters have different opinions? achievements are account bound after all.
Since you can vote multiple times, you can vote once for each candidate for achievements…then vote tens/hundreds of times for the candidate you want.
