Remove "Call of Karka" skill
you hear that loud booming noise behind you? no?
you see that large shadow looming over you? no?
you see that giant karka slowly crawl out of the ground? no?
Then maybe it’s not the skill that’s not working correctly.
The general idea of it is when you see the karka drop what your doing and run for it!. It gives you plenty of time to get out of aggro range before the karka becomes active. I just wish you could control it to some degree….then agian THAT would be op

you are not playing a ghost very well if the person has time to get away…
After 20 kakra kills I have yet to let a single person get away. It is crazy OP.

This skill is hilarious. It should absolutely stay in the game. It’s part of the way Southsun Survival is played. If you happen to be one of the remaining survivors, you need to find a way to deal with the possibility of someone throwing a karka at you.
Karka is overrated. You can see it coming and dodge its attacks.
You know what is OP? Alarm trap.
It costs just 4 motes to use, and inflicts (stackable) torment.
If they don’t eat a ration they are basically dead.
If they don’t stay still until torment expires they are basically dead.
While they’re staying still, wasting their food, eveyone in the map is alerted to their position.
So let’s say you have 12 motes. That’s still cheaper than Karka + Trip, which really you need to trip because Karka takes SO LONG to surface. You just triple-alarm somebody and if they have less than 4 rations they are probably toast. Way overkill and super easy to do.

This would help. You can get away from the kakra if it wasn’t for the tripping trap

Yeah but you can’t coordinate it. Shoot, throw in a 50% chance when the blue orbs appear after an action too. Access to blue orbs should be sparse and should force the ghosts to actually collect them not float in one spot and mass up 15 immediately after death. The skills are fine so it keeps the dead people engaged. But you need to make them work for it.

Simple statement of fact, that’s all. If there’s more than one ghost on a person it’s almost too easy to kill the person.
I always kill someone nice trap then karka. The only thing I think they should change is spawning everyone at 1 camp at the start….
Oh also the scoring system makes no sense. You would think the longer you survive the more points you would accumulate. This is false you are better off just charging everyone and killing.
Here is why. Me and another player were the only 2 left we made it down to the 6min mark meaning we survived for 9mins or so. Well I died cause I ran out of rations finished with 32 points the winner gets an extra 50pts so unless you come in first place you won’t be seeing a lot of points for actually surviving. They should make it so you gain points automatically the longer you stay alive

The problem is you guys are trying to treat this like a FPS and not a hardcore survival game. Sometimes it’s better to hide and watch what the other players are doing. Stop trying to play like it’s Quake and you’ll do far better.

I’m speaking from the other end here. I’ve had the karka spawned on me numerous times and got away each time. I did have to dodge one or twice but still successful.

I don’t think the skill should be removed but it should change, like require at least 20 orbs and/or have a long cooldown, I’ve had one person spawn three of them on me within thirty seconds. Also I often encounter mute karka where I could not hear them come out of the ground or their skills, I don’t usually get killed by karka but if I do it’s usually by these guys.
The karka skill is the only reason this game is even fun. I intentionally suicide at the start and go on a karka spree. It’s really fun.
If they removed it I could see people just akitteng through it and jumping every 30 seconds.

It requires 10, the max you can hold is 15. So that means within 30 seconds they spawned one, then gathered 5 more spawned another one, then gathered 10 more and spawned another one. Yeah…I think what actually happened was you made some people angry and they got revenge.
Actually, I think the karka sucks.
If they manage to get rations and go on a particular area where the Karka is bugged, it won’t do anything. Even if you summon 3 karkas, the survivor will live (unless they run out of rations).
If you think the Karka is bad, imagine my playtime in the (very fun) Mad King Labrynth! Now THAT place was the fear inducing game!

I think the best solution is to teleport the dead people to a different (small) room where they can fight each other, either with the Southsun bow or just regular PvP.
Remove the Spit skill; the immobilizing webbing and it’d be fine imo
Why not just let the 1st and 2nd player who died get the Karka?
Removing the OP Karka would make the event last way to long; and its long enough as it is. So; no! Deal with it.
Call of karka sucks. I have a hiding spot where people can spam it right on top of me and the karka will just chill there because it can’t see me. Then again the traps don’t do any good either since I never move once I get enough rations.

Karkas are extremely easy to get away from . I’ve had quite a few spawned right next to me, and I’ve only died once to them. The general idea is to just run in a straight line as fast as you can the moment you see one – they take forever to complete their spawning animation, and by the time they do you should already be out of their attack range. They also have terrible AI, so you could just hide behind a tree and they’ll sometimes not even notice you.
Though I do agree they are too cheap. They should cost 15 points – that way you also can’t combo them with a trap – not by yourself anyway – which is the biggest problem.
u must be joking call of the karka is not the OP skill its call from beyond that needs a nerf! it does too much damage and is WAY TOO EASY to hit somone with and its too cheap

1. what happened to the girl who wandered off too far, and the organizers burnt up part of the forest to get to move closer towards the other tributes?
2. near the end of the game, they released huge mutant dogs to kill off the remaining tributes.
the ghost players in southsun survival play the roles of the hunger games organizers.
