Its like you didn’t even pay attention. The dead charr was a representative, the person on the council who died (was assassinated) was Captain Theo Ashford, a human, and a good friend of Logan’s which is why he is the one who has Mai start the investigation.

At least the show was good even if was cut and he didn’t try to act like a choice was equal when it wasn’t. Kiel is just Trahearne 2.0 and it will be quite boring. I plan to do her stuff just for the achievements and not even bother to watch a single cutscene. Already know it will be boring and a waste of time.

Here is hoping Wildstar and Everquest next are good. As a story nut for these games you have done nothing but let me down with GW2 ingame story.

What was the race of the person who founded Lion’s Arch? Whose city was it before the tidal wave? What race would have been most represented in the population near Lion’s Arch when it was refounded? And which race had the most sailors, and therefor probably the most pirates, at the time Lion’s Arch was refounded?

If you think about the circumstances, you’d expect humans to represent the largest segment of LA’s population, and the council would reflect this. LA’s founding charter was to be a place where people would be accepted regardless of race – this means that the race that represents the largest proportion of the population would also likely have the largest number of people in power, simply because there’s a larger base from which suitable candidates might arise.

As it is, there’s currently 4 humans, 2 asura, a norn, and a charr on the council. Given the likely demographics as discussed above, that’s probably about what you’d expect.

There is clearly a serious threat from Evon supporters towards our elected representative Kiel.

Well, I guess us Kiel supporters will just have to ‘remove’ Evon before they have a chance to ‘replace’ Kiel and then they will have no one to replace her with. You know, chop off the head of the snake…. or in this case cat….

I wouldn’t be the one to talk if i was you guys considering that zhaitan’s final fight is infamously bad amongst the forums sooooooo you guys calling someone else’s bad writing is hilarious coming from you guys.

Also the mechanics of the final fight against Zhaitan have nothing to do with the writing.

Actually the plot had a giant laser shoot a previously established powerful dragon down and don’t forget zhaitan had little intelligence to slam into the ship he was bigger then and attempt to rip it out of the sky. No he just spat undead which have been repeatedly shown to not work against the pact in a pants on head moment.

Basic animals ram into objects if it causes them pain and zhaitan ripped apart the ship when he flew by it once. It also made little sense for him to fly in front of the ship when he could of easily came from below and ripped it apart.

Again animals are smart and the dragons are smarter then animals soooooooooooooooooooooooo poor story telling to the point where you have to be blind and dumb to not wonder how this boss couldn’t do what even things like bulls could do. the actual fight was bad but a starving animal doesn’t make it where it has absolutely no intelligence and does little circles.

I’d love to see the living story make reference to this in-game.

Considering Magnus the Bloody-Handed considers her a daughter, Gnashblade could level accusations of corruption and favouritism on the council.

And considering that Magnus and the rest of the Lionguard obviously favour Kiel, they’ll not appreciate Gnashblade’s failure to accept his defeat.

They could let players investigate the council and look for any evidence of corruption, as well as investigate Gnashblade’s connections to the Ash Legion in search of conflicts of interest within BLTC.

Or, if Gnashblade shows disrespect toward the Zephyrites’ decision, the Zephyrites could set up a rival trade company. They certainly seem to have the resources for it.

There is nothing good about Gnashblade’s campaign. He was going to make Black Lion Keys cheaper so we could play the RNG gamble game more often. How is that good? Why do you want to support RNG gambling in the gem store? And then to top that off, he wants to dwell on something that happened in the past instead of focusing on current issues that we are facing. How is that good? Yes let’s ignore the current problems we are having so we can reflect on something that happened thousands of years ago that doesn’t matter anymore……

Wow !!!!! Really ? You are going to uninstall a game because you didn’t get your way ? Interesting. Myself I voted for Kiel, am happy Kiel won. However would I be spitting my dummy if Evon won ? No, as this is a game. Its not real life like many on these forums seem to think.

Am looking forward to any new content that ANet release and I actually appreciate what they do for us. Name another game where they release content every 2 weeks. It may not always be to your liking, but hey thats how life is. Just enjoy the game.

This isn’t my first post. The real reason (Which was talked about there). Why it’s time to leave. Is because, people are stupid. For voting Kiel. And you wanna know why they did so? Actual quote from many Kiel voters “Kiel is good. Good always wins bad.” After that sentence, I was like “What!? Are you kids serious… You just lost a FoTM map about Gods, do you even understand that?” And it turns out most didn’t even know what rewards each side gives you. After such disappointment & stupidity. I decided to leave this community behind & make my time more valuable.

Not only is Ellen Kiel the rightful winner of the vote, she is the better person to win the vote. She’s also far more relatable to me because of her values. Gnashblade’s selfishness and conceit is not what I’m about. Thus, not a good representative of me.

The fact that people voted for Evon, only for the Fractal, shows a high level of selfishness. Life isn’t always about asking “What’s in it for me?” With something as trivial and low risk as this vote, you still couldn’t pick a person for having virtues?

I’m certainly going to save my stacking of badges for Kiel as I’m going to use them often. Love Live Kiel!

My friends and I were all voting for Evon. (shrug) ¯\(?)/¯ The fall of Abbadon seemed way cooler imho. Pretty lame how Elen won :/ Think about it! A god falling or something that happens IRL, a reactor blew up. I honestly don’t care about the reactor so much in comparison to the fall of Abbadon. Unless they got some epic story for why the reactory blew up I won’t really care about that fractal at all. I have a friend who is getting the game soon, very soon, and he just missed his voting chance, and when I logged on today when I was talking to him, we got so surprised that Elen Kiel won! :S (in a bad way) So, count me in OP! Anyway, for all we know Anet might have something up their sleeve for… eliminating Elen Kiel. May not be likely, but all I can do is wait and hope. Also, im at lvl 80 and waypoint prices aren’t affecting me much if at all. I’m guessing many Keil supporters just way pointed more than they needed to. or maybe… >:)
