The cheaper waypoints will last only 4 weeks… If it were permanent I would vote for her, too. But since it isn’t…

Does Abbadon’s Fall refer to the actual GW1 mission, or when Abbadon was defeated and trapped in the first place?

/Voted for Evon. The Fall of Abbadon has always interested me, let’s hope they make the story for it rich and fruitful, god knows I’m starved for some good lore in this game.
Guild Wars 2 is not a sequel to the original Guild Wars but merely an alternative story setting.
I don`t think it means we see the end of Abbadon in Guild Wars Nightfall.
While it might be a fun fight (with the easter eggs included), it wasnt that big of a “stage” to beginn with. They could expand on it of course, however that means we would finally see new (old) monsters.
I am more inclined with the events that lead to his fall and exile in the first place. Since we are still concerned about Orr and Abbadon was a major god in that area.
However i think it is great that they didnt make us choose between the two “old” Dungeons of the living story. These should go in naturally and not by vote. If so, i see Evon having a unfair advantage… though Kiel has it naturally thanks to her involvment in the story so far.
So far my vote is for Kiel.

Evon has some Gemshop cutbacks… well yeah…
and the Abbadon mystery. however so far that is his only good point.

Hopefully they’ll adjust fractals, perhaps polish them a bit more and give them a new purpose, as of now I have very few reasons to ever do them.

VOTE FOR KIEL. WE BARELY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE THAUMONAVA REACTOR. We already know plenty about the fall of abaddon, its stupid and repetetive to choose abaddon again.
Most everyone that played GW1 can tell you that the Abbadon final mission in Nightfall was very very easy and if its going to be the same as it was back then I’ll be voting for Ellen Kiel on the off chance that it might be.

Keep in mind just how big of a gold sink WP costs actually are, I know I’ve spent at least 200g on travel fees these past 10 months. Those 1-4s fees really add up XD.

I think you’re confusing Dhuum with Abbadon. Grenth fought Dhuum to gain his place as the new god of death. It took all five gods to seal Abbadon within the Realm of Torment. Seriously, if it’s the sealing that we’re going to be seeing in the Fractal…
“Sponsor Fractals of the Mist research into the Fall of Abaddon”. For all we know all it’ll (same with reactor) be is a custcene accessed from the Fractals hub (where the merchants are), and not be an actual level/fractal.
I’d rather go with Kiel just for the waypoint costs right now, since we don’t know what the fractals stuff will actually be.

It is highly unlikely they would word it like that if it were only a cutscene, and they would most likely be able to do it way before the end of the year if that was the case.
Reddit is sparked this question multiple times, so I hope I can catch your attention while this section is still quiet. The Fall of Abaddon mentioned in Evon’s campaign promises is a bit ambiguous for fans of GW1. We would like to know if it’s his fall against the other 5 gods or revisiting the fall that our characters witnessed as we fought him at the end of Nightfall?
