People are mainly voting based on the fractals. People seem to favor evon for the abbadon fractal. cause. come on. abbadon. ABBADON. but wait. the thaumanova reactor might seem boring, but lets look at both of these fractals.

abbadon. If I believed that Anet had no chance of screwing this up in any way, i would choose this one. im assuming this is going to be the fight where he was banished to the realm of torment, not the same scene as from GW1. Since this takes place on the crystal sea, they could have a really cool ship fight where boarding is involved and such. And the abbadon here is not changed like he is in GW1. He would look normal. And once the fight has ended, the crystal sea dries up instantly.
But things could go wrong. They could somehow make this whole thing with bad mechanics and overall be boring. We know what happens here, and the only thing that would keep this interesting is good gameplay. If they for some reason show the same abbadon that you see in the realm of torment, then it wouldn’t make much sense or be as cool. Also, how would they make us able to see abbadon? humans go blind after seeing a god.

This one gets much less love. when I first saw the two options, I was backing evon 100 percent. Mostly cause I had no idea what the thaumanova reactor was. then I saw it on the map. It is where the fire elemental is. and then I saw that the CoE is another reactor called the infinite coil reactor. at CoE they are trying to recreate the thaumanova reactor. With this fractal we would get all new lore that is much more relevant to the story of GW1. It has to do with a dungeon that we have already and we get to learn what the inquest are actually trying to do with the infinite coil. We know it has something to do with the dragons, and we know that somehow the steam creatures were made by teh thaumanova reactor explosion. It would be cool to learn about all of that. However, the downside of this fractal is that the lore probably wont be as cool. it cant compare to the fall of a freakin god. But maybe. just maybe, it can come close.

Who am I going to support? no idea.

Isn’t the main con for both fractals is that they’re not swamp? Woohoo longer fractal runs…
