This is kind of a call to the devs to work it into the story line of Kiel. I personally voted for Evon but o well.

How did Kiel get our (I only play Asurans cause they are adorable) Arcane Council to agree to lower our prices on OUR waypoints? Our people for the most part hate working with each other and the only reason we put up with the other races is because we have to.(for the time being till these dragons are taken care of then we will rule you all)

I just cannot for the life of me figure out how you are not simply breaking the lore/arrogance of the Asuran race by having a human have the ability to determine the waypoint pricing.

I don’t want to get the vulgar comments some people have posted on this topic either. For that matter we Asuran find the human figure to be disgusting so those kinds of comments just prove your jealously of our vastly superior intellect, insinuating that we would be swayed by the feminine figure. HA utterly absurd.

Seriously though, are you going to shed some light on this,what I consider a potentially drastic oversight of your own lore? Has it been explained and I missed it some where?

Maybe she approached the Arcane Council and said that if she won, she would fund research into how the reactor blew up in exchange for them making waypoints cheaper for a time?

Maybe Kiel has ‘’very interesting’’ specimens or objects that would make the oldest asura researchers glee.
Maybe Bribery, she is on the pirate council after all.

Are waypoints even acknowledged by the official lore? I thought they were just a gameplay convenience.

Waypoints are officially recognized by the lore… and I also think Jaymack’s answer is probably the right one.

I would agree with the funding research into why it happened if it wasn’t for the fact that during any of the given paths of Asuran story (I have done them all) it is mentioned several times how the Arcane Council likes to sweep stuff under the rug and not acknowledge things such as failures. So I cannot see why they would agree to acknowledge the need to research why the reactor blew. If there was something into say funding a clean up then that is fine because having the lesser races deal with it is much more appealing then having to do it ourselves. But this isn’t the case.

They don’t want other people to know . It doesn’t mean they don’t want to know it themselves.

Making it public like this with an election kinda lets everyone know.
