Guild Wars 2

So I was just curious how things are going to go. I assume that it’s going to be all servers combined and tally up the totals. But during the event:

Are we going to see a progress bar that shows the current votes tallied for each candidate (or any kind of indication of how the vote totals are looking)? Or are we just going to have to keep farming tokens for 2 weeks to support our candidate of choice, hoping that they win in the end.

I realize that both ways have their pros and cons.

If we can see that our candidate is getting crushed we may not even bother trying or we may double down and grind harder trying to bring the person we want back up.

If we can’t see the current outcome it could make defeat feel that much more annoying or make us feel that we “wasted” our time, if our choice won by a big landslide.

Was just curious if any info was released about this yet, and what you guys thought/wanted. (I haven’t been able to listen to the latest live stream yet, so if it was answered there I apologize, but I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet).

The tokens probably award some sort of points for the candidate. The Special Event box on the UI will likely display the current value of those points.

We have no actual info yet on how this will be displayed, though, if at all. Considering they showed a progress bar for Molten Facility, it wouldn’t surprise me if they showed the current support amount for each candidate.
