Say I went out and bought 2000 gems with real money. Would it be better to spend all the gems on rich coffers for a try at tickets, or would it be better to trade the gems for gold and purchase a lot more regular coffers off the TP?

From what i’ve seen (and myself included) opening around 1000 coffers seems to be a good number for getting the skins, that would currently cost you around 27gold. 2k gems is about 35gold i think or 25 rich coffers. I myself opened 30 rich coffers and got nothing but candy and food, didnt even get a mini. It’s all a gamble, but from personal experience id just trade the 2k gold in for gold and buy regular coffers.

2000 gems would exchange for about 44.97g which would get you about 1606 coffers (2.8s each), or, 2000 gems could get you 25 rich coffers.

I’ve heard of people opening 50+ rich coffers and getting nothing, and I’ve heard of people opening 2000 coffers and getting nothing. I see a lot of people saying they got a ticket in 1000 coffers or less, and personally I’ve gotten 1 ticket in 300. I would say to go with regular coffers and as their price continues to drop, the deal only gets better (1921 @ 2.34s buy order).

My suggestion: If you have to spend your gems on gold or rich coffers, go with gold and exchange for regular coffers.

Reasoning: I spent 60 gold for 2,000 gems and got 25 rich coffers. Results: no ticket. I also opened 4,000 regular coffers and finally got a ticket on coffer 3,951.

However: A guild member of mine only opened 7 regular coffers and got a ticket. Of course, she had no idea there were tickets in the coffers when she opened them.
