Can anyone say for certain whether or not Magic Find affects the Drop Rate of Coffers from the Holograms? Or from anything else, for that matter? I know most people will say that it should affect the Drop Rate, but does anyone KNOW whether or not Magic Find helps?

Most people say yes.

I think it does as well, as it’s a rare drop, rather than common. That said, RNG is RNG, so your mileage will vary no matter how much MF you have.

I would think it would be more along the lines of since it is a drop, magic find gets you more of the coffers, but doesn’t do anything when you open them.

Magic Find affects loots that drop from mobs, so in this case, yes MF does affect coffer drops. But in the end its still RNG and MF only gives u a higher chance to drop stuff

Oddly enough I was curious about this myself so last night kitted out a PvE farming alt with MF-biased armor and weapons. I can’t say I noticed a significant increase in coffer drops but I did get a rare scepter drop in Queensdale just a few minutes after equipping everything. I probably got through 50 coffers afterwards but no tickets or mini’s. This seems consistent with other comments.
