Well of course something bad will happen. Its a GW2 holiday event, it can’t go smoothly. Especially not taking place in Lion’s Arch, that place is the center of bad luck in the universe.
A festival to celebrate brotherhood and unity between players ain’t nothing wrong with that.

Yeah i was thinking aswell, dragon bash is the perfect timing for a new dragon champion/elder dragon crushing the party and introducing the new story arc? going to war against a new threat?

The dragons tend to avoid each other, so a fight for territory will not happen.
However, the dragons are not stupid and have very detailed information about Tyria.
It is possible that they get wind of the party mocking them and one simply decides to crash the party to teach us some manners XD
