It’ll probably even last past the ending of the dragon bash. After all, you can still today redeem christmas weapon skins and fused weapon tickets.

Tbh, I have no idea. One can only speculate that one can get easier access to candy as the event progresses, or one can get jordbreakers from something else later on.

or you can just buy them on the trading post for 25g, i got mine for 40g yesterday, kinda upset now that i wasted the difference.

Ya. There are two things that are going to happen:

More wings will enter the game via the boxes. They’re not -that- rare as a supply is building even at 1.5 days later.

More candy will enter the game via everything. Soon the price will drop to, most likely, single digit coppers as the market is flooded with them. Buying enough won’t take a huge amount of gold.

Even so each single digit equals to 10g… For a skin…

And? That’s not that hard to get at all, even for new players. It’s a one time skin and that’s really not all that expensive for a one-timer. It’s better than the alternatives of a 60+ gold skin from say, Halloween.

I feel your pain, I way overpaid as well. On the brighter side, I sold a bunch of mini knights for a lot more than they’re going for now. I can’t be too bothered about the wings. I was was really happy to get them at the time and enjoyed playing around with them right away.

Do they need to FLAP all the kitten time really? Looks pretty lame while we stand still, was hoping shattered would be more decent designed but no, still flapping like in middle of flight. I believe ANet is rushed by publishers to do models like this or simply modellers have none taste :<

In a week or two, the same investment could have gotten you 5 of them… which you could have sold post-event for a profit…

I learned this the hard way buying event minis, especially the Reef Rider. I paid 11g for it on the first day!

In future I’m going to remember to wait and watch the prices and drop rate before I decide to buy things.
