Dragon bash merchant is MEAN
Trained monkeys are expensive. How are they going to be sure you won’t run out of the country with it?
They can plant a gps module in their head and fry their brain if they try to leave the country. If not a monkey, maybe a meerkat at least?
I totally agree with Ravak…there should be a better way to exchange items via merchant. It’s so time consuming trying to exchange 2000 candies for other items…and no Im not going for Jorbreaker. I already found 2 wings from wooden chests
I move the merchant window so that the buy button appears in the same location as the confirmation button. That way, it’s just a double click for purchase: no mouse movement necessary!

Brilliant. Added your quote to the first post as a temporary workaround.
Since the 100,000 candy is never going to happen converting to jorbreakers for back cover. I am converting candy to consumable foods, 5 candy per. However I have to confirm I want to buy it every single time! Can we just assume I want to buy it by the tenth time of purchase? Can this double check pop up be ignored or removed … please?

I have no intention of getting the ugly wings, so all I can do with the candy is get some magic find food. I tried getting some yesterday, but having 3000 candy and clicking “yes” for every 5 of them, Jeez… That’s 600 times “yes” if I want to use all my candy.
Holy mother of the sacred Beduin Queen of destiny, can we please get some sense into this? At least add stacks of 5 or 10 for every food, so I only have to confirm it like a hundred times!
Had the same problem this morning. Here’s the discussion so far: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/dragonbash/Dragon-bash-merchant-is-MEAN

Ah, c’mon, the wings are fun.
I broke down and bought a set for 15g, and sold my first wave of boxes for about 8g when the price was up around 4s each. I’m behind, but that’s ok. I colored up a nice outfit to go with them, just like I did for the flower.
But I guess I thought the big flaming gloves were pretty ugly, so to each their own, I suppose.
15g to buy the cover, or a jillion candies at roughly 1 gold per 1000 × 100 = 100 gold for a cover? Whoever came up with that number seriously did not think that through.
anyways … back to clicking [Yes]

I had already tried that but I couldn’t get the 2 windows near each other. I am using a small laptop. Maybe that makes a difference.
Part of the event hasn’t been released yet. They could add ways to obtain jorbreakers straight up, similar to bauble baubles & baubles in SAB.
Another +1 for removing the confirmation.
Even with stacking the buttons, it takes way too much clicking.
I’m converting large TP buy orders of taffy into my long term supplies of “yum”.
3250 Zaitaffy to spend on MF cupcakes & hell if I am going to sit there and click "buy yes buy yes buy yes 600+ times just to get a simple deal done! You’d think Anet would have had a clue after all the years running Guild Wars 1 with this simple little thing. At least set it up so we can input the exact amount we wish to purchase, quite simple really. This ain’t rocket science for gods sake. They know people are going to stock up on everything and eventually trade it all in so why make it a total pain in the butt? Buy yes buy yes buy yes, slitting wrists k thanks bye….
A confirm popup? I have 11 stacks to trade in and only got through 2 before I lost my marbles and walked away refusing to ever bother with that idiot vendor again. I’ll be selling off the rest. This is just so ridiculous… sigh… clicky clicky clicky buy yes buy yes buy yes buy yes………………………………………. aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgghhghhghghghghghghh
Person 1: I bought the wrong thing and there was no confirmation so I lost 30 Laurels.
Anet change it!
Person 2: I’m tired of having to confirm all my purchases!
Anet change it!
I sympathize with game developers. There really is no pleasing anyone.
NO, DON’T CHANGE IT!
That’s the only way to stop ppl to rush to vendor but 1000000000 of stuff and then rush back to TP.
Of course that would only benefit ppl for already flipped thousands of gold and not real players.

There’s a difference in adding a confirmation to an item you buy once per month as opposed to an item you buy “in thousands”. Many people are stacking this event food for a long term use, and this is just plain PIA. If it’s cheap, there should be no confirmation at all.
As it is now, I almost gave up on stocking food. I’m just doing it once food stack at a time (1250 zhaitaffies), every now and then. So much fun…

There’s a massive difference, as I’m sure you can tell, between spending 5 trakittenems to get a consumable and spending 30 laurels to get an ascended item. If you and I can see it then I’m sure ArenaNet can and can put in place a sensible system that is capable of being turned off on certain vendors (i.e. vendors like this one).
