I know someone spent some real time on that cut scene, and it’s lovely (I guess, many people like Majory, but I think she looks a bit mongoloid, myself), but after all the work I put into the entire Dragon Bash set of achievements, getting a cut scene journal seemed like a bit of a downer. I couldn’t help thinking of that scene in “A Christmas Story” when Ralphie uses the ring to decipher the message and it’s “Be Sure to Drink Your Ovaltine”. I’m not sure what I was expecting (hoping for more karma and gold, but hey, I’m greedy). It just seemed like a bit of a let down.

Like I said, I’m greedy, and “sweet backpack” is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I’m not sure how a book that plays a cut scene I could look up on Youtube and takes space up in my bank is really worth the effort. It just seemed a bit weak compared to the effort put forth.

there’s a final content update on the 25th that concludes the story arch.

and yes, while the appeal of skins definitely is in the eye of the beholder,
it doesn’t negate the fact that you got something. the book was just an extra.
as i said. the achievement for the shattered wings was this updates meta, so they are
the “big” reward, like the sclerite karka shell and the fused gauntles were
