so seriously? what is gonig no with the effigies? is it like the fireworks cermony? an instance? or will it be like the pinatas?

There are two things:

1. There will be effigies in the normal world that you can light, likely somewhat similar to how you can bash pinatas (although we don’t actually know the mechanics behind this yet).

2. The Effigy Lighting Ceremony itself is an instance available sometime today, the effigies you light will likely start appearing around the same time. The instance will most likely grant you a different, story achievement.

We don’t know the mechanics around the lighting of the effigies for the Burn Down The Dragons achievement.

If you have multiple characters, can only one do this?

I’ve found three effigies, all in Gendarren fields, I didn’t see any in Bloodtide coast or in Lornar’s pass.

Same here on Seafarer’s Rest. I think its a bug.
