It’s 9:11 PDT, fireworks still not happen in LA.

As above … standing idle waiting for the show to begin, not knowing if you have to wait 1 hour or 20 is somewhat boring and frustrating, can we have a timetable please

The fireworks begin at 9AM PDT on Friday, June 14 and will go off every two hours until 12PM PDT Monday, June 17.

I never get why Anet does not put Europe times as well for those who do not understand the PDT etc time zones. Anyway if i’m correct for most European time zones, well at least for the Netherlands it’s at 18:00 the fireworks show will start.

or use UTC and let everyone figure out their own adjustment from time zone / daylight savings :P

Yeah, really wish they’d put it in UTC or CET aswell. Anyway its 5pm UK and 6pm CET.

Hopefully someone who knows how to do it will add something to the wiki like the GW1 wiki has for all the event finales – a box with the times in PDT and UTC that automatically marks off which ones have happened and which are still upcoming.

i log on on 9 am and nothing happen

It may be 9AM where you are RedFang, but if you read the posts above you will see that the fireworks start at 9AM PDT – we’d need to know what timezone you are in to tell you when they will start for you.

I’ll look into having some of our wiki gurus expand the functionality, since this is one of the first event timetables for the GW2 wiki, and one of the first (if not the first) that lasts more than a day.

Green means it hasn’t occured yet, grey means it has or is currently running. This is just for Friday, I’ll see if we can get the entire weekend soon.

not working on overflows….

Not working on lot of servers Time table differs on servers so not accurate

Someone please explain the intelligence from Anet by doing this? Every 2 hours people will try to get to Lion’s Arch to see fireworks and be stopped because everybody else will be doing the same thing. They obviously never thought this through.

Sitting in LA overflow and don’t see any fireworks, I am in lions court by the dragon statue.

What if we are stuck in the LA overflow server when the fireworks happen? Will we still get to see them? Will we still get the achievement?

I think something else hasn’t been thought through…

Nobody has any fireworks, atleast not on Gunnars Hold.

It`s been suggested since beta that they use GMT, UTC & or anything else, but they stick with PDT.
Who`d of thought that this was a global game ;p

So I am gonna assume what happened is that when Anet fixed the problem where people in overflow could get the achieve early before everyone else, they fixed it by making the achieve not obtainable in overflow. The question is how did they not remember to fix that?

I can’t account for actual time it starts, only the schedule, unfortunately.

Seafarers nest, 3rd day can get only to overflow, no fireworks.

Was in LA overflow. The show went off. Lasted about 10 minutes. No achievement.

Ummm, well all I can say is I have guildies in overflow who are seeing the fireworks yet those of us on Ehmry bay can not……..all we are seeing are noobs letting off fireworks from box o fun etc….

I’m not in overflow, but there is no fireworks but player launches.

Sitting in Lions Arch near the dragon statue since ten minutes before the hour, no fireworks, no achievement. In an overflow server.

Anvil Rock……Overflow…..Not heard anything of fireworks…but i do see people with them setting them all off. Sadly i dont see any Anet fireworks that go with the achievement….or this grand firework show.

I’m on Anvil Rock and was put into overflow. Haven’t been able to see the event or get the achievement. Been waiting since before 9 AM PST and was wondering if I should just go do something else or keep waiting.

Can we get some official guidance about whether we have to be on the regular server to get it?

It’ll be happening every two hours all weekend, so I’d suggest sleeping and catching a later one when bugs hopefully will have been ironed out.

Will even if it is not, the next one is not supposed to start in 2 hours, so I would say go to sleep. You have the whole weekend to complete the achievement.
