I love the way they have done the RNG this time. SSC was fun but disheartening at the amount of crates you got.

Now at least I feel like I have a greater chance of getting something (even though I probably don’t logically). I treat it like a lucky dip, I don’t expect to get anything but it would be a nice surprise if I did.

I agree. Apart from any actual difference in chance to get a ticket, these crates have a much better psychological effect. When you find one you think “maybe something good is inside”, but if it isn’t, you’re not disappointed much because the next crate is just seconds away.

I agree, I’m having a lot of fun with this event because of these coffee drops.

Me too, I already opened hundreds of coffers and I know I will open lots of them before the festival is over.
I hope that this farming will eventually get me some tickets.

If only the boxes had something else in that that was moderately useful.

I was sold on this expansion when I realised I could make my character endlessly puke from eating too many sweets, and the fun of opening 200 boxes (one of which contained a ticket). Now I just want that mini.

I know its great isnt it! I love this game.

Seeing Dragon Coffers fall makes me happy. I open about 3/4, sell about 1/4 and it’s good. It keeps gold moving between players, and it acts as a gold sink for the game overall. This is way better than the Southsun Crates.

So yeah, roughly 1/5000 coffers will have a ticket.

It doesn’t work like that, you wont necessarily get one if you open 5000 boxes that .02% chance is for every box you open so, according to that data in every box you open you have a 1/5000 chance (.02%) this resets on every box.

but yup yup a great way to solve the rng issue, still rare wapons, still RNG but obtainable through the game, having said that on my serve (Far Shiver Peaks) i have seen ALOT of people with the weapons, getting bored of seeing them now :P

Same here, putting in the coffers with the % of dropping the skins and whatnot was an amazing idea : D

Now they just need to make the weapons tradeable — soulbound on use instead of bound on acquire.

I’m loving the coffers as well. Exploiting all of you fools seeking that .02% drop rate ticket… muwahaha

This very much and at the beginning the coffers were going for about 11 silver. Thank you good people with too much money.

As long as I get more silver for selling them than I do for completing DE’s at level 80, I love the boxes too.

I’m loving the event and boxes as well…so far this has been my experience. I went out to do an area and explore while thinking maybe I could find a good place to farm the boxes. I eventually did find a nice place to settle in and do some farming. After picking up about 60 boxes I decided to call it a night and open some. Wasn’t expecting much but wound up with the mini and a ticket. Yes I know it’s lucky but I also think it’s about perspective. You have to look at it like hey I’m here to do this for fun and if I get something then it’s gravy. Mind you I really wanted a ticket but my world didn’t depend on it. Same goes for the Moa races…I came out of it with my achievement and about 60 silver. I committed 2 gold to the cause and said hey if I get it great but if not too bad for me. It worked out. People need to take things in stride a little more and be happy they have a great game to play with lots of fresh content. Just my 0.02
