The RNG from the chests has been done to death. I’d like to not talk about that.

What I would really like to see implemented is a different way to obtain the weapon skins.

Anet, you seem to have started with some of the armor at least. I am speaking of the Holographic Dragon Wing Cover.

Now, at the merchant, that costs 100 Jorbreakers. This is a crazy amount of Zhaitaffy to obtain and spend, which I am completely fine with. What I love about this, is that these wings have been dropping from the Dragon Coffers (correct me if I am wrong there.) Anet, you have provided us with an alternate way of obtaining this item, which is also available on the Trading Post.

All I am asking is for an alternate way to obtain these awesome new weapon skins that have been introduced to us. Something to work towards. Something at the end of the tunnel that is reachable by means of progression or otherwise. Something that won’t leave a whole chunk of us devastated when we open hundreds of coffers and no tickets.

I myself have opened 20 Rich Dragon Coffers with no sign of any Jade Weapon Ticket. I’ve opened close to 400 regular Dragon Coffers with no sign of a ticket.

I was really looking forward to getting a sclerite shield. Now i’m looking at the Jade Shield skin. I’m wondering what awesome skin will be next that I can go for.

Again. Simply asking for an alternate way to obtain these wicked skins. =)

I started a thread such as this as many have. Anet do not seem to be taking notice after every event. But to reply to this thread Yes something needs to be done. Either weapon vendors stay in game with drops still available after these events in the associated areas. Either a craftable version is made and obtained through karma recipies or to put them up for sale in the TP Gem Store. Any of these would be fine just please give access to all these skins for the people who work dam hard and just get unlucky. So far 3 main events for me without any ticket whatsoever!!!

Why u still complain about that… What’s the point of every1 having them? There’s nothing special in something that u can get easily, ppl have to farm and even then, after that farm they may not get that skin, it’s not said that u MUST have them. That’s the charm of those skins they have to be rare, it’s a dragon skin and we can’t all be dragon slayers. It’s ok having that rare drop rate but maybe they can make those tickets tredable. What i mean is that the ammount of dropped tickets will be the same it’s just that some ppl will be able to buy them from another lucky person but don’t ruin it making them easy to get. It’s boring watching every1 with dragon skin, ppl have to be different to be unique, to watch a guy and say well hello this is something u don’t see every day. There will be much more events in future and i think it ill be better to have the skins with rare drop rate so u won’t see clones. Imagine after year of events like that one, you’ll be walking and seeing ppl with dragon skins, lizard, ghost, flame, frost, halloween etc… It’s good to have diversity, to have things which won’t be possible to be obtained by everyone as far as those things are not stat changers, it’s just look. Even in the books characters are not hanging around with Excalibur, it was one and only King Arthur who owned it.
