The fireworks are soooooo slow to launch. Please remove or seriously shorten the cooldown. You can’t put on a good personal “show” for people with only one “pop” every 5 seconds or more.

And MOST IMPORTANT: make them ACCOUNT BOUND so they stack in my bank.

I deleted a bunch of mine because of the soul bound issue. If I could stack them from all of my toons in the bank I would have kept them.

Why in the world does ANet have this fascination with soul bound items?

I would guess the reason there is such a long cool-down time on the fireworks is to prevent them from causing other peoples fps to drop (If the issue with the investigator kits was any indication of what would happen when people spam items). I could be totally wrong on that though.

I really do wonder why they are soulbound, I just don’t understand that at all.

Soulbound status on the fireworks is completely silly. I have no idea why they’re like that. I mean, with equipment I can see soulbound status trying to keep people from shuffling equipping around to alts or whatever, but fireworks? What’s the reasoning behind that? Is taking fireworks from one alt to another really something that needs to be blocked?

As for launching them faster… I agree there as well. The global cooldown on the whole item (not individual skills) is too limiting. There’s another Firework item in the game (that you buy in Metrica Province or Rata Sum if I’m not mistaken) that has 3 different colors of fireworks and lets you launch all 3 separately, each on its own individual 5 second cooldown. That’s how these Dragon Bash fireworks should have been. That way you could spread them out so that you’d have a continuous stream of fireworks, or stack the 3 together to mix the colors. And I don’t think it would cause FPS issues because each color still has a cooldown and the other fireworks have never caused an issue.

yeha, it takes FOREVER to use them it’s laughable.
