Removal of confirmation for buying food
250 stacks? o.0 that’s an awful lot of zhaitaffy
I wish A-net would do this, but not just for food, have some option to remove all confirmations for buying things. Actually better yet, let us purchase stacks vs single items at a time.
It’s not a bad idea to have confirmations, because if you didn’t you would have just as many threads of people complaining that they accidently clicked buy and they want their money back, especially at things like the laurel vendors.
The best idea is to leave the confirmation in and just allow us to purchase stacks as was suggested.

Indeed the best solution. A right click option to “buy X amount” with a confirmation window that says “Buying 250 of X will cost Ygold, etc”
If for whatever reason they’re unwilling (or unable to) give the ability to buy multiples at a time then, how about the option to have confirmations or not? A checkbox somewhere in the vendor window that says “Confirm purchse”, checked it would pop up the box, uncheck it wouldn’t. It would be checked by default on any vendor window. Resets back to checked if window closes/reopens. Easy solution for everyone.

I would like it if it functioned like the trading post does. You just type in the amount you want to buy (then it wouldn’t be such a big deal if the confirm purchase dialog box was there).
Support, I want to buy a stack of candy and this confirmation screen has deterred me.

While I would like them to do it, implementing it would crash several markets. You realize those dragon bash food buffs are copies of quite expensive food, right?
I just moved the window to the place where I have to click OK so I only had to click away and not move the mouse. Still takes longer than a buy max option, but it works for me.
After trading almost 750 pieces of food (~1500 clicks) this morning, I feel I’m one step closer to my carpal tunnel syndrome achievement

Was gonna buy like 250 stacks of dragon bash food from the merchant. Needless to say, its crazy stupid clicking confirm everytime
You just make the tab screen right where the confirmation screen pop up,that way you click on the candy + the confirmation box unnoticed….Really, its not that hard :p

I got over 5000 zhaitaffy to spend.

Yeah, not really. Some of us don’t want the dragon wings, so no need to save up the stuff. The food is only 5 taffy a pop, and I’d rather have cupcakes, thank you very much.
I don’t get it. It is as if a dev that has never played a game set up that clunky process. I’m going to buy 4 stacks and it’s gonna take forever.
This is another example of something that was working in GW1 but for some reason was reinvented for GW2 in a manner that is a downgrade. (deposit/withdrawal from bank another example)

Oh my god yes, from the start i wondered why the deposit/withdrawal was changed. It makes no sense why they would change it. Also like you said so many things were working fine or even great in gw1 and than changed for gw2.
