Yeah, feedback from initial testing seems to be that the chance for a Dragon Jade ticket from Rich Coffers is still fairly low. Fortunately for me, while I think the DJ weapons look fantastic, they don’t really fit the theme I’ve been aiming for with my characters, so I can sit this one out.

I’m still quite disappointed that this is the path ANet chose to go though. They were SO close to getting it right; have their RNG boxes, and provide guaranteed boxes for sale in the Gem Store. Jack up the price for the Rich Coffers to 1000 gems each if they must; I bet that you’d still have people lining up to pay it for the chance to skip the RNG. People were willing to pay $10 for costumes back in GW1, and I believe they’d be willing to do the same again for cool weapon skins.

Opening a tonne of coffers whether rich or common to obtain a singular item sounds like players waiting to hopefully get an item, but not actually getting a more than reasonable chance getting the item.

I Like you Anet, but I have to side with the players on this one.

uhmm..i dont get why a lot of people complain about this RNG chance while buying it with real money..this is how ArenaNet earn their moeny..through giving RNG to people. you all should already be thankful that they gave you the game as a “no monthly fee” game now let them do what they want let them atleast earn a little from people who buys it. if you dont like it, dont buy it and dont complain. you people cant really get enough

Why don’t sell the ticket directly ? If you only want skin and does not give any kitten to “infinite” thing, you can buy the skin directly.

I think its fair – fair solution.
